My cat, Slim had been going there since I adopted him. He used to have bad FELV flare ups and they would always get him in within maximum a few days. Slim loved the vet techs and the vet! The receptionists new my cat by name, and I really appreciated that. My partner and I really appreciated Grant's compassion and honesty when Slim passed. They let me stay there with Slim the day he was struggling, in his last moments, until they closed. It was a really difficult day, and knowing that the person taking my passed fur baby was going to care and treat him with respect made it a bit easier.”

“I have to say how happy I am with Chippens Hill’s treatment of my dog Snoop! Long story short we bought him in for a sick appointment and had a plan but he needed more care and they were extremely understanding, accommodating, efficient, and kind! I couldn’t have asked for the situation to be handled any better. Thank you!!!!”
“I brought my pup for a bath and a haircut at Petco of Avon for his scheduled time at 1:15. The young man at grooming immediately took him in, and we discussed how short he should go. He also wanted to see his most up to date Rabies vaccine. He said he would call me when he's ready in around three hours.So I went around town to do some errands. I got the call around 4:00 that he's ready and I could pick him up. I couldn't wait to see his fresh new summer haircut!I was so, so very embarrassed with what the groomer told me. He said they couldn't cut around his face, he was way too aggressive. He really isn't an aggressive dog at all. He's had most of his teeth removed, so couldn't be aggressive by biting.I thought they did a great job on his body, and he smelled so fresh and clean. His head was a bit uneven because he was wiggly. They didn't charge me for this haircut, that was pretty embarrassing too, they worked on him for a long time. They didn't even want to accept my tip. I truly appreciate their honesty and their hard work. I'm going to work on fixing the unevenness my self.I recommended Petco of Avon even if I won't be returning here. They are hard working and honest. If your pup could sit still it'll be so much easier for everyone.”

“We pass about 3 animal hospitals to come to this one. Genuinely friendly staff who are great with animals (and humans too)! One of the vet techs Pam is amazing! We took our dog here and they swiftly brought her back up to speed with a fair price and clear aftercare instructions. They looked out for her like it was one of their own dogs. Couldn't be happier”
