The teachers seem very good but understaffed. There’s 10 children per staff member with no support staff so don’t expect any individual attention which isn’t ideal for such early education.

Our family has trusted this daycare for several generations! If you're in the Plainville, Bristol Southington area, this is the most well run and trusted daycare! As we wind up with our last charge that we know of, much gratitude, and thanks for being there! I'm sure you will be missed for the time being!

My oldest daughter started here at 8 weeks old in January of 2016. I cried my eyes out dropping her off for the first time and the woman who runs the "baby school", Denise, actually cried with me - which is just a sign of how much they actually care about the kids they are taking care of. The staff in the newborn room was nothing short of amazing, they were all women who had been there for years and there was not a day that I ever felt uncomfortable dropping my daughter off (outside of that first day). As my oldest grew, she moved from room to room at appropriate times, and the staff continued to be amazing. Once she had enough hair on her head, the staff in the toddler room would do "pretty parties" where they would style her hair after breakfast. When she moved up to the 2's room, there was an actual curriculum developed by a woman with an education degree, they were excellent with potty training and my daughter would no longer allow me to style her hair. I will say that it was a little bit of a pain to have two locations for drop offs and pickups once my oldest turned 3 and moved up to preschool at the East St. location and my little one was still at the baby school (Cooke St. location), but it was nice for my oldest to be able to return to see her favorite teachers, and the space at both centers wouldn't allow for both programs to be in one building. One more small complaint, my oldest child was not sleeping well at night, so we wanted to cut out her nap in pre-K 3, but they were not able to accommodate it. When she moved up to pre-K 4, she should have been in the "young 4" room because of her late birthday, but I asked if she could be put in a different room that did not nap and they did that for us. When Covid hit, they handled this excellently as well. I did end up taking both girls out of school for a few months, but upon return, I was impressed with their handling. They never closed. At that time, parents were not allowed in the buildings, so I imagine that dropping off a newborn for the first time must have been a nightmare, but they were doing the best that they could. I decided to use their private kindergarten service that they were offering at the time, since as a working single parent, I was scared that public schools would close again and I would have to home school a kindergartner. Despite the reason we chose it, it ended up being amazing. My oldest daughter has ADHD and the mix of educational instruction and the fun way that they taught the specials (science, art, cooking, music, sign language, Spanish, etc) really kept her engaged. Because they attend more than 180 days, they were allowed to have only 3 hours per day of the "fundamentals", reading, writing, math, etc and that really worked well for transitioning from pre-K. The Kindergarten program was no longer offered once my youngest daughter reached that age, and she has had a significantly harder time adjusting than her sister and she is not learning some of the things we really enjoyed (instrumental music, Spanish, sign language, cooking). Pricing has always been super reasonable, where some daycares may offer more, you certainly pay for it. We never had an issue with any teacher at either facility, and we still keep in touch with many of them despite the fact that my kids no longer attend. They do offer before and after school care, but in my situation, working from home, it was not worth the cost, however, if I was still going to the office on a daily basis, they would definitely still be attending as the cost is still very reasonable. They do offer military and family discounts for families with more than one child attending, and the price for preschool drops from the price for the "baby school" due to the decreased teacher to child ratio. They are generally on a small wait list for infants, so be sure to get your name on that list while you're still expecting. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough.

I went for a tour and witnessed about four teachers on their cell phones instead of interacting with the children. Also they have you pay for the month prior to your child starting which I was informed is not given back once your children leaves the daycare (for example if you child starts in June you have to pay for May) and the money is not reimbursed. I'm not sure if this even legal.

Teachers are very attentive to my daughter. They also interact well with the parents. You can tell staff like their job and want to be there. Everything is very planned out and organized. Feel very comfortable when we drop her off. She loves it there.

I send all 3 of my children to this school up until kindergarten. I feel they got a very well rounded education the teachers are great to work with!

Would not send my kid there. Went for a tour, the daycare's old, carpets are dirty, the air was stagnate and everyone had the same wet cough. Overall affordable, just NOT clean.
