Great Beginnings is a trusted and well-run daycare serving the Plainville, Bristol, and Southington area. The staff is amazing, caring, and nothing short of amazing, with many having been there for years. Families feel comfortable and confident, noting the reasonable pricing, military discounts, and family discounts for multiple children. The daycare operates from two locations, with a "baby school" for infants and a separate preschool building. The infant room staff is exceptionally caring, while the toddler rooms offer engaging activities like "pretty parties" for hair styling. The preschool program features an actual curriculum developed by an educator, with excellent support for milestones like potty training. The daycare handled Covid excellently, never closing, and previously offered a highly-regarded private kindergarten program that kept children engaged with fundamentals and specials like science, art, cooking, music, sign language, and Spanish. While there can be a small wait list for infants, and coordinating two locations for drop-off can be a minor inconvenience, overall the experience is highly recommended. The community gratitude is strong, with many families trusting the daycare for generations.

The staff here is amazing. I was hesitant about putting my kids in daycare of any kind bit these people are so great and the kids learn a lot.

Teachers are very attentive to my daughter. They also interact well with the parents. You can tell staff like their job and want to be there. Everything is very planned out and organized. Feel very comfortable when we drop her off. She loves it there.
