“I've just left and I'm writing this in the parking lot so I don't forget, I had to get a last minute gift and tj Maxx was closing in a few minutes, but my cashier, Angela, was so kind, personable, didn't make me feel rushed even though they were closing ( I try not to go places close to closing time but I had no other option) and she really seems to love her job, thanks for making my shopping experience a great one.”

“Conveniently located, Costco is frequently our go to shopping location. Costco gas is almost always less than surrounding locations, so combined with great value items in the store, the trip pays off if we need to fill up. People ask us why we belong to Costco, since there's just the two of us: how much TP can you guys use, they ask. Honestly, we don't buy a lot of bulk items, but we've booked a cruise, vacations, and have bought three cars through Costco, so we value our membership more than you might think. The New Britain store is clean, with a pleasant, informed staff.”

“This is one of my favorite places to shop! They always have new seasonal items to help add some pizzazz to your home. They also have a large selection of dishes, pans, linens- almost anything you might need for your home. They even have an aisle for pets. Lamps, some furniture, mirrors and pictures give you a selection that you can afford. They get new items daily, so you never see the same things each time you go. I am a retired kindergarten teacher, but the reasonable prices at Home Goods enable me to “change up “ things without breaking the bank.”

Wendy has ample amounts of both, and Target was wise to put her in charge of a store. I have no doubt that she earns her position every day. She earned my business and respect in about 60 seconds. “I've been going to the Marshalls & HomeGoods on Bishop's Corner for a long time, probably about 20 years. There's all kinds of things you can find here. Kitchen tools, towels and sheets, clothes for the whole family, shoes and purses. You can also find some random pieces of furniture, like an investment accent chair. There are two ways to enter this store, one is at the front, the other is at the rear where the Target is. There is plenty of parking at the back of the store. They also have cashiers at both entrances. This makes the wait to check out much faster. Granted, there are times when I'd walk out empty handed, because they didn't have what I'm looking for. New inventory is added to the the store multiple times a week. This is a great store for your home needs. Currently there's plenty of Halloween and Christmas decor.”

“I enjoy shopping here especially in the clearance racks.They have really unique snacks and I'm always looking for funky flavored ones. On my most recent trip, I purchased the peach rings with tajin, mango chili taffy, fat free coffee flavoring, supplements, and home decor.I noticed that the aisles were really cramped especially walking through with a cart; it will not fit two carts so if there is another person in the aisle, there might be a cart accident lol.Cashiers has been pretty friendly so far. This is the closest HG to me so I'll be frequenting it.”

“They're pretty cool here. I'm delivering here and they let park in the back no problem. However, the alley dock is ridiculous! Very difficult to get lined up because there is zero room to maneuver! I was brushing the trees and on a patch of dirt that probably everyone winds up on. Be prepared to have your backing skills challenged if you're a semi driver!?”

“Marshall's is a discount retail chain; they purchase overstock/out of season items from manufacturers and sell it for a lower price. There are 1236 stores in the US and Canada.
I'm a fan of this Marshall's; it's big, clean, and organized. It is very similar to the HomeGoods (which is owned by the same company) in the same plaza. I love their clearance racks which can be found at the end of the aisles. A great place to bargain shop. I've always loved TJ Maxx and Marshall's is essentially its sibling.
The following types of products can be found at Marshall's; footwear, clothing, bath, bedding, home decor, furniture, beauty products, jewelry, housewares, toys, giftware, and per supplies. I loved their candles and random skincare, and soaps. The clothes were pretty decent if you dig around the racks. The employees were friendly. Overall, a fun place to shop and you can find some treasures; as their slogan says, "Your surprise is waiting and never boring, always surprising."”
“Renée from the fragrance section was extremely kind and patient with my boyfriend and I while we were visiting CT and wanted to try new cologne/perfume. She was friendly and full of smiles while we explored a bunch of scents for quite some time. It’s people like her that make shopping a pleasant experience and the high-end fragrances worth the expenses.”
“I love the store. There's so much choices, but there is one area of opportunity. I work in customer service and I tell my team if it's quiet trust me if there's one person in the store they can hear everything and I don't want to get anyone in trouble, but I will tell you the language that came out of one of the store reps talking to another rep was extremely unprofessional. Using profound words that were unnecessary. I almost walked up to her and said something she seems like a sweet girl, but that type of language is not kept in the store even if they think no one's listening, I heard everything.I definitely would coach the team on being careful what they say and when they say it. Use the back office they need to discuss personal issues.”

“I LOVE Saks OFF 5TH!! There are so many wonderful finds here at amazing discounts. The store is beautiful, well organized and very well merchandised. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the variety of merchandise is all top notch. They sell effee jewelry which I have previously purchased in the Caribbean at twice the price I have found the identical item for at Saks OFF 5TH. Needless to say, I do not buy my jewelry in the Caribbean anymore where you are "Supposed to get the best deals." I highly recommend Saks OFF 5TH to all of my friends for high end merchandise at a really discounted price. You will NOT be disappointed when shopping here!!”
