Was just talking with a friend about this store and shared my experience with her and then decided to check reviews to see if anyone agreed with me. I also have been a loyal customer of the store basically my entire life because my mom used to bring me there when I was a little kid. So when my young daughters started dancing, of course I went to dancingly yours, and we went religiously for anything we needed for a little over two years. Last year, my daughter needed a specific pair of shoes for comp and our dance instructor was still making a decision as to which tap shoes, but we went to the store anyway, and tried on the pair that we thought we were going to have to buy. I didn’t end up buying them that day because our dance teacher was still making a decision between two pairs of shoes, and I know dancingly yours has a very strict return policy, which I can respect. Without realizing/innocently, I asked the girl who helped us what size my daughter tried on, with absolutely NO intention to buy the shoes online because like I said, I had been going dancingly yours forever. (to be perfectly honest, I hadn’t even really realized that online was an option as dumb as that sounds!!) Similar to what one reviewer said, the girl working there very rudely stated that she can’t tell me my daughter’s shoe size because I would go online and buy them online. I felt like this was extremely accusatory, and I thanked her for the idea to buy the shoes online and left. It was SUCH a turn off. If it’s your policy then great but teach your staff to phrase it a lot nicer rather than straight up accusing people of something they weren’t even planning on doing. I get it, people go online and that’s tough for your store, but being mean never works either.

Been a loyal customer for years. Have only ever purchased from Dancingly Yours. Called today to get sizes from my previous purchases.( just purchased 2 pairs of shoes 2 weeks ago) Got the run around and was told they don’t give sizes over the phone. Said they don’t do that to avoid online purchases. Well I guess that makes it very difficult to use your own online platform for purchases. Have always been a supporter of local businesses. Inconveniencing a customer does not earn business. Unfortunately my competitive dancer lives at the dance studio. Would have been convenient to order on line. But I guess that’s not possible.

My new favorite dance store! Such a beautiful store and the staff were so nice, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be getting all of my daughter’s dance wear from here from now on!

I bought my daughter cheer shoes. With tax about 50 something $. She wore them ONCE. They are in pristine condition and the store only accepts store credit. They won’t return anything. She plays soccer…..there is absolutely NOTHING at this store for her to “exchange” she happened to get an injury the one time she wore them for cheer. Not the shoes fault of course but the fact that I can’t return them and she can’t cheer due to her injury is RIDICULOUS. I will never be returning here.
Update that the owner called me and told me that their policy is no money back store credit only I said that’s great there’s nothing I need at a store like that and she said well it’s posted on your receipt that that’s our return policy if that’s your return policy for the amount that you sell things for you should definitely be telling people that when they purchase items. I would have never bought from here if that was the case. She then told me that the sneakers can be used for more than just cheer and I can let my daughter run around outside in them they are bright white like $55 sneakers there’s no way she’s wearing them outside to just dirty them up that’s absolutely ridiculous you buy a pair of Walmart sneakers for that you don’t go to a dance store and purchase shoes to run around outside in. If my daughter had worn them for more than one game then I wouldn’t be as upset but seeing that she literally used them once is annoying. I’m not even gonna bother going in for a store credit on stuff that she isn’t going to use she doesn’t do dance she only does soccer and softball What am I gonna buy in there? I won’t be returning here ever. They were too small to begin with they offered to stretch them for me but we decided to break them in instead. That never happened due to her wearing them once. We literally have ZERO use for them and don’t personally know anyone else that cheers.

People were super nice, not too expensive, huge selection, some really high quality shoes and leotards, overall great dance store, and well worth the 35 minute drive.

Went here for 1st time to get my child the stuff she needed to start ballet & tap. I dont have another place like this to compare it to but I thought they had pretty good selection of different dance shoes, leotards, & outfits. They also had some nice bags for bringing dancing equipment back & forth. Dressing rooms were open and available to try on clothing. Staff was very helpful in assisting with fitting my kid with proper shoes. They also had a book of dance studios so they can look up what each dance studio requires for outfit & shoes, my child's dance studio however was not in their book. They also can put you in their computer system so when you go it will show what was purchased in case you forget. We went in the last hour they were open and people still took time to help us & didnt hurry us along to get us out fast as possible so they can close. The building is kinda small from outside & sneaks up on you while driving if not paying attention when driving.

I've been to this store several times and every time we have stepped in the door the associates immediately have greeted us and were right there available to help. The service is EXCELLENT and everyone is so nice. It is our "go to" store for dance apparel ,etc. i highly recommend this store.
