Had an issue last night with bagging at this location, so I mentioned it while filling out a survey. Within a few hours I received a call from one of the management staff there, Robert, who apologized for the inconvenience and let me know that he corrected it with the employee in question.
Great to see such awesome customer service, especially since it lacks in most other stores in the industry. Thank you Big Y of Plainville!

Been shopping at Big Y for over 20yrs, stopped in for mini fall cupcakes for dessert. They were very yummy and made with the light whipped frosting.

The store was well-organized, and had a great selection of products. What really made my visit exceptional was the assistance I received from Molly in the deli. She was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the cheese section to pick out the perfect varieties for my charcuterie board. Her recommendations were spot-on; Thanks to Molly, my charcuterie board was a hit! Highly recommend Big Y for their excellent customer service and quality products.

This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL store. I am accustomed to the stores in west Hartford and this just blows doors off any grocery store in that area including Farmington and Avon. Everything is easy to find. Staff is courteous and processional. I will be traveling to this store from now on!!!

Always a nice place to shop for all grocery items. I like that the store is always kept stocked, clean and organized. I miss the delicious pizza that use to get. Maybe it’s made later in the day?

The Big Y in Plainville is a great grocery store with excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and helpful, the store is clean and organized, and they usually have baggers to make checkout easy; especially when so many stores don’t have someone to help you bag. If you're looking for a reliable shopping experience, I highly recommend this Big Y!

Excellent fresh food products. But the scooters for the handicapped are very difficult to maneuver. Employees are kind and very helpful. Clean store and well organized.

I used to like this store. Unfortunately, the Deli department went down the hill. They still make good pizza, but wait in the store 80 minutes for one large pizza is ridiculous. Deli lady had two orders, and she said to wait 80 minutes. Really? If she is in a small private pizza shop, they bankrupt quickly. Similar problems are on fish dept. where guy can not follow the order.
Sorry, you lost a customer.

First time shopping here. I wanted to sign up for rewards membership, they were too busy to help at service desk and asked me to come back. So I went and got groceries, then went to sign up, service desk now closed, asked cashier if they could apply the rewards to give discount since I was unable to sign up… they said no! So paid full price. Last time I’ll go there… stop and shop would have applied it. Not helpful and not kind.
