Counter guys are helpful but after being told I'd be contacted re: delivery I called around 1pm the day of, and they confirmed it was on the books. Delivery guy dumped order on front lawn without a word, about 100' from garage. I'm home but windows closed cuz it's 92F. Really appreciated moving a few hundred pounds of wood by hand when he easily could have driven it right over. Little communication goes a long way.

Besides lumber cost being so high this is a great place to go. Very friendly helpful the man at the counter. He actually checked the 2x4's to be sure the straight and even looded them. Don't get that service at the big box stores

One of the worst customer service experiences of my entire life. Went to purchase lumber to repair my deck on Saturday, August 15. Called ahead to ensure they could cut boards to fit (they said they could). My boards wereA) five inches shorter than what I neededB) not thick enoughWhen I returned for my refund I was told “that’s why we say we can’t cut to size” and literally no apology whatsoever was given.So essentially I tried to support a local business and had my time wasted and was given awful customer service.

Beginning the search for a prehung entry door with sidelites, we decided to think outside the "box store". After visiting the big 2, we went to 84 lumber. Michael answered our questions, honestly and knowledgeably. There is limited samples, especially in glass, found similar issue in box store, especially in Classic collection, I expect it will be a cost prohibitive option. (We are getting prices on both fiberglass grades).

My experience was very pleasant. The new store manager Michael, helped me immensely to answer all my millions of questions, he was very kind and knowledgeable. Will definitely use this company in the future!

Unfortunately I don't think I can rate 0 stars. I was in store on a Saturday. Unfortunately for me that meant the supplier was closed so I could not get a quote. I was told they would get the quote and call me on Monday. I never received a call so I called back. I spoke with someone and he agreed to get the information. When I didn't get a call back I followed up. Again, I did not receive a call back so I followed up yet again. At this point I was frustrated beyond belief. I hadn't even ordered anything. If it takes this much follow up and hassle, I can't even imagine what problems I might have if I tried to order anything. I would be wary of the customer service.
