Pet Care
Oxford Veterinary Hospital
487 Quaker Farms Rd, OxfordI’ve been coming here since 2001 and have always received exceptional care from Dr. Mark and Eric. The front desk is very knowledgeable, professional, patient and kind. I would recommend Oxford Veterinary Hospital to anyone seeking the best care for their fur babies.

Oxford Veterinary Hospital: Reynolds Marc C DVM
487 Quaker Farms Rd, OxfordThey have been phenomenal for our 4year old cat. She is feisty and has unfortunately had quite a list of health issues over the past year and a half. Last year she became very sick basically overnight. Our previous primary "low cost" vet was impossible to get a hold of. I was frantically calling every vet I could find and no one was willing to fit her in as a new patient. They were so kind and did what they could to get us seen. They worked with us on finding her the right medication and offered affordable options. Their visits are pretty affordable as well. The doctor is great, thorough, and straight to the point. Would absolutely recommend.

Cat's Corner Veterinary Hospital
556 Oxford Rd, OxfordMy first visit with two cats went smoothly from the minute I pulled into the parking lot- a tech came and helped me carry the cats into the building from my car. During the examinations Dr. Ball was pleasant and thorough. She was not rushed and answered my questions professionally and thoughtfully. The office was clean and quiet and the front desk staff were helpful.

Pet Sitting & Training
Woodland Kennel
6 Cortland Pl, OxfordWoodland Kennel is amazing at teaching dogs to hunt and listen well. Geoff is a great trainer who helped our dogs, Cooper and Blaze, become awesome hunters. They learned to follow commands and find birds like pros. We're really happy with how good they are, thanks to Geoff's training, Highly recommend coming here if you want to field bred dog.

Rich Farm Ice Cream Shop
691 Oxford Rd, OxfordFirst we are nearing the end of this warm / Indian summer! So before they go dormant run to this amazing place because I have gone to others and I know people can be bias and like certain places but Rich's is that true New England charm for fantastic ice cream. Found on route 67 just in Oxford north of Seymour and South of Southbury easy to find from either route 8 or route 84. You pull up to the most New England like setting with the large patriotic barn and service area. When warm tables are found along outside and I believe as the weather cools to the right of the service window is a large sitting area with a very large fireplace. Ice cream is made daily in a family affair and it's the concoctions that are amazing and so inventive. You will need on a warm day plan on being early place fills up and stays fill for the day. Kids working are high school / college aged so when you can leave a gratuity as these kids work hard . Now ice cream typical flavors but thru have sundaes and the best waffle cones anywhere. Nothing better than a Cookie Monster blue with Oreos or chocolate chip is amazing. Ingredients are the real things the ice cream is the freshest you will find, So before they close I believe after thanksgiving until March swing by and grab the best last treat you can have for this time of the year ..
