10/20/24 - Today was my first time in this store. The girl at the checkout greeted me and said to let her know if I needed any help. I know exactly what I was looking for and found everything i needed fairly quickly and without needing any help. The store was clean and all the merchandise was neatly stacked and hung. I will certainly go back again if I need anything.

Okay so this is nothing to do with the staff because I've had a pleasant experience the three times I've visited. However it does have to do with the fact that there's always something going on. Basically I had to put back items because they weren't taking cards just cash. Honestly who carries cash nowadays. The employee was very sympathetic but its an inconvenience for me as a customer who needed scrubs for work the next day. Corporate should be handling this and or at least offer discounts. Then the other time I went there stood outside waiting for the store to open because they claim to be closed but the door was broken. Mind you the door is still broken. Another annoying thing about this store they'll have plenty of tops but can't find the bottoms to match or vice versa. Again the staff have always been helpful but the store needs to step it up. Huge waste of time traveling to two work and gears only to hear that all the credit card machines are down.

These people are incompetent and don"t know what they are talking about. My husband has a voucher from his job that was given 12/23/22 to get a pair of work boots by 12/31/23. We come on 12/29/23 to get the boots and he refuses to take the voucher stating that the voucher needs to be used within the year its given. That means that you literally have 7 days to use the flipping voucher? That is ridiculous! I am totally at a loss of words at how unreasonable and uneducated the staff is. Worst place ever. They also only have like 6 different types of steel toe boots, the rest are composite or soft toe. Happy New Year to you too. Smh. More like the Grinch who stole Christmas.

Could be a good place to get scrubs or work wear for a trade but not much of a selection for boots. I will note its one of those stores that really pushes you to give your name, number and email before buying and for some reason that always throws me off. Otherwise not a bad place.

I ordered two items online One item I had to return The girl working at the counter was rude also during helping me with my return she just stopped and went and helped somebody else and made me wait she was rude poor customer service I will never go to that store again

It was my first time shopping with Work n Gear and Samantha was a great help. I was in and out in 15 minutes with the right stuff I needed. Had a good experience shopping here! ?Only giving a 4 star cz I requested my receipt to be emailed but didnt get it in. Apart from that, all good

Samantha is an AMAZING and HARDWORKING employee. Unfortunate that she was the ONLY staff member present, but nonetheless she was extremely helpful. She helped with questions, offered suggestions and when my mother in law needed a different size she stopped what she was doing and didn't hesitate to grab a smaller size for her.She was knowledgeable and a wonderful manager. I was super impressed even when the line began to get long, she apologized for the wait and began the next interaction with a big smile.My mother in law and I are healthcare workers and shocked to hear there is NO discount for essential workers.

High quality clothing and boots. I've only ever bought my work boots from this store and they last a long time. Clothes selection is a bit small for outdoor work but has a wide range of sizes in what they do have.
