Unpleasant and uncomfortable interactions with one of the females who I didn’t catch the name of, but she said that she (supposedly) “recently quit working Nights/Evenings at VIP- in Orange, CT” then made a demeaning remark about my body size stating “GEEZ, YOU NEED MORE MEAT ON YOUR BONES.” *(Then gifted me)* ITEMS in which she stated “he’d love it if you wore this” talking about lingerie SHE BOUGHT FOR ME her husband would like (who was a vague acquaintance from the dog park)… after trying to make moves on me where I stated “(NO) GO AWAY.” At which point I left the location.

Do NOT shop at VIP in CT unless you want to be disappointed...I bought a pair of $100 boots at VIP. They disintegrated after the first time I wore them. The manager of the store told me she couldn't do anything about it, to email the owner. So I did. And she never even replied to my email.Very bad customer service and worse products. Cheap clothing, toys that break, and shoes that look like trash after wearing them for one hour.Beware!!!

Went in a few days ago.. very clean and bright, was welcome by the workers. They didn’t ask for ID, I walked to the back and saw someone with curly dark hair sitting on her phone, she didn’t even look up or ask if I needed help. Some boxes are so old they’re yellow and looked dirty. Several boxes are only held together by tape and looked used... I asked someone about shoes and a worker told me not to buy them cause they would fall apart first wear and were too expensive. Everything is just overpriced and outdated and the aisles were hard to navigate..

The lady behind the counter couldn’t answer any of our questions about the product and wasn’t too friendly. There were barely any product labeled with pricing. Probably won’t be back.

First time going was great I was not Id even tho I had ask staff members multiple times was told there was no need but my second time returning I was told I needed an Id even tho I make multiple tattoos. I felt it was because my boyfriend was dark skin.

Was made to feel very unwelcome during my last visit. Women with long gray hair made me feel like a criminal while I was shopping.

came to this place yesterday night, boyfriend (black)goes in and gets id’d (no big deal) then, tonight i go in and its the same lady (Liz) as last night and i wasn’t id’d at all. then a black lady came in and while she is already shopping an older white lady asked for for her id and made her leave bc she didn’t have it.if you’re going to id people do it to the full extent to everyone bc it’s very clear that there is some racial profiling going on here and it’s disgusting. when i asked why she didn’t i’d me this time she said “i was talking to a customer” but there were 3 other employees at the register with their back facing the checkout line and someone walking towards me from the back. obviously it’s not a crime to id people but make sure you’re including everyone when you do.

First and foremost, me and my friends bags were taken at the front entrance. No big deal they don't want people stealing. It's another thing where you have the music loud enough that I wouldn't even be able to whisper to the person next to me and had to speak in my regular voice. Explains me how I was told that I had to keep my voice down in the store that would not require that. Is this a library all of a sudden? It is a shame because the store is well stocked and clean but I did not feel welcomed at all. I also felt as though I was continuously getting stared down and looked at me like I was going to steal. If that is the case then maybe put security tags on your products. Staring down and making minority women feel uncomfortable in a store that goes entirely against that makes zero sense. Would not ever give this location my business and not one should. They definetely racially profile people.
