Ernie and Joe are absolutely amazing. They do amazing work and are now my mechanics for my car. They have helped me out so much and have never steered me wrong. I will recommend them to anyone they are awesome. Joe has a a heart of gold he really is awesome.

Terrific people here. This is my 'go to' place for fuel, getting my Mini Cooper's fixed and stuff from the little convenience area. Coffee is good too!! Seriously, as a woman, it's difficult to find qualified people to work on a Mini that won't rip you off. They truly give me hope that not all garages see a woman come in and see $$$ signs.

I want to say this place is all around fantastic. Work and prices incredible. Moreover I wanted to let them know how wonderful Jennifer the attendant is. I tried a few different methods of payment as my first one fell through. She was patient,kind and non judgmental. When I apologized she said "why no one is perfect. " Really made my whole day. What a gem of an employee she is !!

One of the few service stations left in the area that has been family run for decades since 1966.They care about their reputation as well as giving a good value for their repair service. Their best feature is a full service attendant available to fill your gasoline tank.They also do emission testing, towing, and can even fill any size propane tank. The gas station is located in a convenient area that is easily accessible. The staff is friendly and professional.

My son is living in New Haven while going to school and I really appreciate having a shop in town that I know will treat him fairly and do a great job keeping his car on the road. It helps relieve my stress as a parent 1000 miles away when I know he is such good hands for his auto needs. I trust them and you can too. First class all the way.

Walked in to get gas inside and the man behind the counter was extremely rude! No good afternoon nothing he just said your gonna have to wait to get gas we're changing shifts it's going to be about 15-20 mins. You would think being in customer service you would be a little nicer to people that are going to spend money in your store. As a retail manager that isn't how I would want any of my employees speaking to potential customers. I have always come to this shell station for my gas because almost all the times I've come here have been a pleasant experience but the last few times I've come here the employees have been super rude and have an attitude to have to help customers. Bens shell station has always been my go to but I'm going to find a place with pleasant employees that aren't so rude.

Just left. “Gentleman” behind the counter refused to assist me in clearing my card off a pump that jammed up after it approved my card. RUDE, NOT HELPFUL AT ALL and got confrontational when I went back in the third time asking for help. Won’t ever get my business!

I was so lucky to have found Ben's Shell Service Center when my car started to overheat on the Merritt Parkway. They found the busted hose connector, replaced it and I was on my way again for a reasonable price. If I lived in Orange CT, I would be a devoted customer. To those who gave a 1 star review - Support your small family owned businesses! Everyone can make a mistake once in a while

I saw this place highly recommended in the town fb group so I thought I would give them a try. I only needed my ac checked out. Ernie was my mechanic and he was so incredibly nice. He had me in and out in 30 minutes or so and my ac is now ice cold!! Will definitely go back.
