If I can give 0 stars I would.
I got reccomended here from bcr and they were only supposed to spay my cat. That’s what was discussed. When my bf picked her up they gave her shots that she already received a week ago. No one asked me or even informed me that they would do that in advance. As an employee or front desk receptionist you ASK about the animal medical history or if he/she has all their vaccines. Don’t just assume.
On top of that when we picked her up they didn’t give her any medication to soothe her pain after spaying her they just told us to wrap her in clean clothes so my other kitten can get familiar with her scent. So unprofessional don’t waste your time here tbh.

“GO TO A DIFFERENT PLACE WHO ACTUALLY CARES & SHOWS COMPASSION.”
I called Monday about my cat’s “ear injury/ear hematoma” as I am aware it has a fluid build up from trauma due to a cat fight.
I got scheduled for today July 12.
My cat was seen, ruled out ear hematoma as I previously said, she was given a distemper vaccine instead. I then asked, if we can focus on her discomfort and do the ear first. I asked if her ears can be treated, maybe drained and was told it will just fill again and surgery is needed. The Vet then, wanted me to do both spay and ear at the same time & quoted me $800 for both, so I don’t need to pay two hospitalizations and anesthesia (save some money he said.)
I ended up saying okay to the ear surgery at the receptionist so my kitten will find relief but was told by the front desk to schedule it in 2 weeks as it can’t be done today. It was unbelievable why I even wen there today in the first place?
( I was quoted $700 for the ear surgery alone)
The vet refused to prescribe any pain medication. He did not want to drain her ear, yet I was told he cannot do the surgery either today and has to schedule it in 2 weeks. Then the Vet just walked out of the door. He was done talking to me and took in another patient. I was so confused.
What a nightmare, not to mention it only just began as following up today made my whole experience even worse.
So to my disappointment and my kitten’s condition, I look for a Vet who actually cares and found one.
I called back today to request for my kitten’s medical record be sent to the new vet’s email address, the response of the old lady who answered the call— “WE DON’T HAVE INTERNET.”
I said okay, so how do we go from here as my new vet needs the information. “I DON’T KNOW, I CAN USE MY PERSONAL EMAIL WHICH I DON’T LIKE TO DO, THE DOCTOR IS GOING ON A TRIP SO HE WON’T BRING WORK HOME.”
I AM SPEECHLESS, PISSED OFF AND IN TOTAL DISBELIEF. TOTAL DISREGARD FOR AN ANIMAL.

Wonderful vet clinic. Took one of my cats there for simple check up and shots. The staff are great people to be around and worked very well with Otto. Also was a reasonable price for both the check up and shots. Cat made it back alive, picture as proof

This vet is the readon why my dog is so traumatized now. He manhandled my puppy and scared him so bad he yelped and bit him then Dr.Murphy proceeded to call my dog a "fucker" if i wasnt so shocked and stunned I probably would have pursued legal action. If you care about your pets dont bring them here. Now my dog has horrible vet anxiety! Thanks alot Dr.Murphy!

Dr Murphy is the best! Practical and functional medicine. Focused on quality of life and kindness, but isn't afraid to tell the hard truths. It's a tricky business to care for fur babies who can't tell us what ails them, Dr Murphy just knows. Can't replace his decades of experience ❤️.Also the British gal up front is so wonderful!

There’s no other place I would send my dogs or recommend to others. This veterinary clinic cares for their animals and Dr. Murphy is extremely knowledgeable. Also, it is very easy to make an appointment and cancel if needed. The prices are also not insane like some veterinary offices and they accept mostly all pet insurances.

Dr. Murphy is Absolutely awesome!! And everyone who works and helps the good Doc. Are the best. My best buddy(Jack my dog)had come down with Pancreatitis. He didn't eat for 8 days, Lost weight. Doc Diagnosed him and had him back up and his old self in less than a week. Any pet I ever get, I know where they're going for their med care.

Dr Murphy is not only an excellent vet but an extraordinary diagnostician. He has cared for my pets for 30 years so that alone says something. However without his vet technician Lynn who adds her exquisite skills to the practice it would be another excellent veterinary practice. Lynn adds both compassion and in depth knowledge of animals to the practice. Lynn and Betty supplement the caring team.

This place deserves 0 stars.Very disappointed. First of all they schedualed me for Monday at 11:30 but they put it in their computer for Wednesday at 11:30. Total disregard that they made a mistake. I had to argue with a snarky receptionist to get her in on Monday.Staff and doctor were very rude & barley made eye contact with me. Very negative vibe. They were not helpful getting her out of her cat carrier. The staff just stuck her hand in and grabbed her neck roughly without even letting get smell her hand first.Then they were so rude yelling at me at me about not getting get shots every year. Treating me like I'm a child. She's an indoor cat with no other animals at home. She doesn't need shots.She's been perfectly healthy for 15 years. Until today when I brought her in bc she's having trouble peeing.I'll go elsewhere.I ended up just walking out bc they made me so uncomfortable. Will never go back

I’ve been bringing my two dogs here for the past 4 years. Luckily for Dr. Murphy, he saved one of my dogs life. He was mis-diagnosed by our local vet in Clinton. I drove my dog out for a second opinion and he needed an emergency surgery for a blockage in his small intestine, our local vet missed. Ever since I have loyally been taking the 45 minute drive to have Dr. Murphy be their provider. He’s very compassionate and fairly priced.
