Fantastic!! The place looks a bit under the weather from the outside, no landscaping, over growth of weeds and the lines for parking spaces are so faded the building looks abandoned, vacant at the very least, BUT upon entering my first impression was immediately diminished by a crisp, clean showroom with a perfect designer center. I was also fortunate enough to have met Sharon Lynn, a designer representative for Bassett who rocks!! She was quick to understand what brought me to the store and how I operate. She also has to be most simultaneously warm, disarming and inviting person I have ever met, while also being extraordinarily well versed in design, product information and professionalism. I never knew that Bassett planted two trees for every wood furniture product sold! Bravo! ? I look forward to working with Sharon on many a future project!! Thank you Sharon ?

We had a great experience at Bassett Furniture in Orange, CT. We worked with Laurie Smith who helped us to design the perfect formal living room. We are thrilled with the furniture pieces she chose for us! We will absolutely be back when we are ready to shop for our next space.

I had a wonderful experience with Laurie Smith. She greeted me when I walked in the store and I had an amazing experience with her from "hello". I was looking for leather living room pieces and I didn't know how much help I needed from a designer until I spoke with her. She was very easy to work with and had many incredibly beautiful and cool ideas to help make my living room look amazing. I was in a few different stores before going to Bassett and felt over whelmed. That all immediately changed as soon as I met Laurie. I highly recommend working with her, you will not be disappointed.

Laurie Smith at Bassett in Orange, CT has helped us decorate many rooms over several years. She listens to what the needs are, discusses designs and products that will update the space and create a new look. I highly recommend Laurie. She does an amazing job and takes the extra step to ensure that everything works for you.

Received less than stellar service at the Orange showroom. The salesperson was overbearing and not very friendly. Had to walk out as a result. Disappointing, considering I was ready to purchase a beautiful piece off the floor.

I work in sales , and honestly they need to do a bit of training here. I was definitely profiled. I was in casual clothing ready to get a sectional. Money to spend . Just compare it to that scene in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts’ character walks into the boutique.

Basset furniture in Orange has an eclectic selection of home accessories and stylish furniture. Most of the items were very similar to other furniture chain stores in the area. The store was clean and the staff was eager to show you the selection they currently have in stock. The prices seemed moderately high and not matched to the quality being provided. With all the available technology, you would think one of these furniture stores would think about providing a shopping experience where you could design exactly what you are looking for in the exact size and color needed. I will continue to persevere in finding the just right end tables.

My table paint start to peel first month.. one person came and paint that tiny areas. But in a while it was everywhere.. even i bought a protection plan its not about it. There was something wrong in production process.
But the big main problem is customer service.i have been waiting for months to someone talk to me about it. I went store and wrote to customercare!! Still waiting...
I used a basic online bought cheap table for 8 years, and i never had a problem..just decided to upgrade it with a well known brand... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

We ordered a sectional from Basset 3 years ago and had nothing but issues from day 1. The couch was damaged on delivery, after waiting months for it to arrive they convince you to keep it and assure you someone will come out to fix it. What they don't tell you is that the lead time on receiving any parts, fabric, etc that they might need is over 120 days. If you reject the couch at delivery, do not expect an expedited re-delivery, its the same wait time all over again (currently at 18 weeks +). Any time you call in because their cheaply made furniture breaks, do not expect to see any results for 120+ days. They also don't always ship the part to your home, so it gets shipped to the store.. if the store sees an issue with the new part (which happened to us), then you have to wait an additional 120 days! We used to love Basset brand and the majority of our furniture is Basset but I can assure you that the quality from 10 years ago was miles above the junk that they are pushing out of their doors right now. Save yourself the headache, aggravation, and time... buy your furniture from somewhere else!

Started at raymore and Flanagan to get some accent pillows for our sofa and love seat. After looking around we were told that we could not buy the ones we wanted because they came with the couches. Are you kidding me. It's retail you sell anything you can get. So we went across the street to Bassett and what a different customer experience. We worked with Kristina Sorfozo who has a brilliant artistic mind when it comes to design. We purchased the 3 pillows we needed with the attention and advice that was second to none. I would give this place 5 stars but wanted to be realistic in saying this store is not for the budget conscience prices are higher but the quality of the product is there. The 3 pillows cost about $250 with tax etc. however, if you have the ware with all the quality is great. A few years ago we bought an expensive bedroom set that is great to this day. No pressed wood nonsense to improve profit margins. I'm thinking about new couch and love seat and I'll be going there

She was pushy and downright rude and disrespectful, even laughing at me while I explained the reason we wanted to make the second change. I really wanted the furniture but ended up cancelling my order due to her very poor customer service. Avoid this store!!
