Moved to CT from the west coast and was needing a haircut badly. Sarah conquered my extremely long, thick hair, and styled it beautifully! I was able to donate my hair so it was a win win!
One thing to keep in mind: tips are separate!! I completely forgot when I paid and will definitely be leaving a larger tip the next time I go.

Took me in last minute for a hair cut, change of color and blow out. The owner is so sweet and I really enjoyed talking to her while she worked on my hair. You can tell she enjoys what she does. My hair came out great and it was exactly what I wanted. Very reasonable prices too. Would absolutely go again.

I came to this place because I saw good reviews. Unfortunately, I left feeling taken advantage of. I called prior asking how much a trim, wash and blow dry would be they said it would range from 40 to 65 the most. I left paying 85 and still tipped 10. Upsetting. 95 dollars total for a trim wash and blow dry was not worth it. I felt like they took advantage of me being a new customer and may have thought that I had money to spend like that and over charged me.

I came to 221 Post this summer after having my hair ruined at another salon. I was hesitant and afraid to try another new salon after the terrible experience that I had at a different salon this summer. Enter the most relaxing atmosphere and the kindest staff! I told them about my experience and I was very specific with my colorist asking her only to dye specific sections of my hair. Not only do they have training and skills here they put you at ease and let you know what they are doing while they are doing it! I have never felt so at ease at a salon and I am going to keep making that drive up to Orange Connecticut for a half head of highlights and blow outs. I haven't had a cut here yet so stayed tuned for updates!

LOVED this salon. I had been putting off getting my hair cut for a while but as a curly haired woman you can only deny the unkempt frizz for so long. Called spontaneously hoping for an appointment and I was in the chair two hours later! Sarah revived both my hair and me with her shear skills and openhearted conversation. So thankful for her and for 221 post! Will be back even if it's just for a shampoo ;)

Very nice Salon. They took care of my hair just as I wanted. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. The prices for the haircuts are reasonable and worth it. 10/10 recommend the 221 Post A Salon
