We worked with the owner to sell off a large estate. He did a fantastic job helping us through the process and finding buyers for a wide range of items. Friendly and great communication throughout. I highly recommend the Antiques Deport!

Typical antique shop. Items were well organized and orderly. You could actually see all items because the items displayed were not cluttered. The “door greeter” was a wonderful, mild mannered dog that never bothered anyone as they were shopping around. The dog was awesome. I would visit again if I were in the area.

Was out looking at different antique stores and stopped by here. Very organized with a varied number of items at reasonable prices. We had a great time browsing, and although we didn't pick anything up this time around, we will be sites to return in the future to see what is new. Since we're all know, inventories change frequently and to find that "one item" you have to be diligent in shopping.

My husband and I are avid antiquer's and enjoy taking day trips to discover new gems. We loved this shop! Super nice quality, great variety and appropriate pricing. Definitely worth a visit! Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I took a daytrip down from Hartford to Old Saybrook to go antiquing. This shop was a gem! Lots of quality, well-made pieces and the store was well kept and not over-crowded. Also, the prices are very reasonable. The owner was friendly and helpful, and we ended up leaving with two items. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Gary Woods owns this shop and he is very cordial and knowledgeable. I have done business with him before and I visit when ever his hours correspond with my schedule. Hi ship is clean and bright and has a super variety of antiques from glass, jewelry and occasionally toys to furniture, decorative accessories and the like. He's open to offers and I always seem to come home with something. The shop is off RT 1 and GPS makes it easier to spot as you cannot see the shopping center from the main road. Well worth the trip, but call to check his hours.

I have been a client of Antiques Depot for almost 20 years. I have furnished my home with the curated and eclectic mix of furnishings, art, lighting, decorative items and garden statuary Gary finds in private estates. Gary has such a great eye, that I always come home with something fabulous and very fairly priced. I call it Treasure Hunting!

There are not a lot of upscale items, there are opportunities to find something among the variety of things, from books to china , paintings , glassware and furniture, etc that will fit into ones home. And best of all, the owner is very welcoming.
