For example, because of the proximity of Rogers Lake, Old Lyme Rowing Association and the Blood Street Sculls Club, students have the ability to compete with (and on many occasions beat!) some of the most elite boarding schools in the country (2x National Scholastic Champions Girls and Boys V1 and V2, Silver National Junior Championships V1).

LOLHS's FIRST Robotics program - The TechnoTicks are a Hall of Fame team, one of the best in the country and the world and both of my sons have benefited from the incredible leadership and personal mentoring that they have received from being part of the program.
The school has an amazing music and choral program - they are the school that has been chosen to represent Connecticut at the Pearl Harbor 75th Anniversary Celebrations in Hawaii in December 2016.
