We love this place. We have been going there for about 2 years by now. The people are friendly and take good care of our pets. We get lion cut and wash for our long hair cat, Tashi and wash for our other cat, Sophie.

Our time in Old Saybrook did not permit a regular booking, but the shop kindly called back after a cancellation. The groomers were pleasant and caring...and they did a fine job of cleaning and trimming our cavapoo's fur, combing out his mats and not shaving him down. The Christmas bandana gift was a cute extra touch. We are happy!

We just moved to the shoreline and were looking for groomers close by. They did a fantastic job on our standard doodle and wheaten terrier, actually tried to get the mats and knots out vs just the typical Shave down you see everywhere else. Great place, we have found out new groomer. Dogs also came out smelling great as well! Good shampoo!

My pup badly needed his nails trimmed. A friend told me that Pampered Pets allows for walk-in for nail trims. I stopped by, learned that they could take him then and in less than 5 minutes we were in and out, for a great price! Wow!!!

The service was great ,the people were kind and very knowledgeable about dog grooming I actually learned that if you cut your dogs coat it changes there hair growth and coat color wow, will definitely be bringing my dog back again. ?

I called on a busy Saturday morning & was surprised to hear they could fit us in that same day! My dog looked beautiful! They did a great job caring for him & getting his winter coat shedded out!

This place is AWFUL!!! I've been three times- I thought I'd give them three tries and after I picked up my poor dog today we will never return. I asked for a simple cut for my poodle, all the same length and to leave a little poof on her head. 7 hours later I go to pick her up and she looks nothing like a poodle!! Flat hair on her head with eyebrows! Shaved her so close to her skin she has multiple areas that are raw and irritated. She is sad and miserable. I have an appointment with our vet tomorrow to look at her wounds. When I asked what happened- I got no real answer. STAY AWAY!!

My wife and I have taken our dog to Pampered Pets three times now and are extremely pleased by the work and the service. We made the appointments by texting the shop from the website, received quick responses and plan on being steady customers- it's a big relief to find a professionally run business.

Our cat grooming was excellent. Nice staff and I would take our cats there again. Very happy with the wash and cut.

They were good with my dog for her first time there, though it did take what I believe an extremely long time with what looked like 4 groomers working. My dog was dropped off at 10 am and wasn't done till 3pm.

Excellent care and service. My dog walks right in, tail wagging, and happy to see his groomers. Nail clipping and dog bath are top notch.
