AAA said Mal’s would be there in 5 hours. Before I was off the phone with them Johnny called and said he would be there in 10 minutes and he was. Got the car on the truck and to the dealership I needed to go to in 30 minutes. Johnny was super cool, Definitely call these guys. They have a brand new articulating rig and got my all wheel drive Volvo out and on the road with dollies fast. A+

Just had an awful experience with one of their drivers. Easily one of the worst drivers I have ever seen, nearly killed myself and one other car. Just because you have a big vehicle doesn’t give you the right to push people off the road.

Mal’s Towing literally saved my life - Johnny, specifically, was a saint. Car broke down on the side of I95 outside of New London 4th of July weekend, and I was afraid I’d die on the road with the traffic screaming around us. Johnny went over and above and we are so truly grateful. Highly recommend.

Come to our home to tow a bike, argued with us about the policy despite our insurance company directly telling him on the phone that it was covered, and then tried to get us to pay him cash rather than go through our insurance. We said no, so he left a nice large divet in our driveway. When we called Mal’s and asked them to fix it, they refused. We also have the entire interaction recorded on our Ring, but they didn’t really care to hear about it.

Locked keys in the car in BigY Old Lyme. Company went above and beyond to assure they were timely. We were quoted a couple hours but had a situation back home had to get to (not necessarily emergent) and the company heard those needs and made sure to help us out.

Called AAA for my brothers car that had a bad crankshaft position sensor at 1:30AM on Golden Star Bridge. Sean was there in less than 15 minutes, and had the car back at home in less than half an hour. Very happy with service!

i’ve used them a few times for a tow, their workers are super knowledgeable and friendly. most recently had robert help us, he got our car running and gave us some information to help! the girl at the front desk is very nice and helpful as well.

Brought my diesel pusher motorhome here for squeeky belt/tensioner.They replaced both,In and out in 2 hours.Hard to find good motorhome service in CT like these guys

I called them to do an alignment on my truck, asking them to tow it to their shop. It wouldnt start, but i had another garage lined up to fix it after the alignment was done. The owner himself showed up, and spent 3 HOURS trying to get it started. I did not ask him to get it running, I already knew it needed fuel system parts and would not start.He spent hours trying, eventually giving up and towing it back to the shop. I paid over $700.00 for the three hours that he failed to start the truck, 3 hours i did not ask for. After it was finally towed to their garage, it sat in back for 2 months. I kept calling and asking when it would be done, every time i called they would say "next week it will be done". Well, they never did it.After 2 MONTHS I went and picked it up, and it was full of mice. When I asked them about mice, they got defensive and very rude. So after 2 months, I paid $700.00 for nothing, had my RV full of mice. Dont bring any vehicle of any kind here, the only reason they are in business is because they have a deal with the state to work on school buses and police vehicles. They dont care.

Called AAA at 1040 am, dispatch said it was given to Mal’s. Every hour AAA said the tow company gave several different reasons as to why ‘they couldn’t pick up my car’ between the truck becoming stuck to being next in line. Yeah, next in line for the NEXT 4 HOURS, at 2pm!!! Finally at 6pm, when I was told it would be another hour, I cancelled the tow. Absolutely ridiculous!!! No reason a person needed to be put on hold for 7 hours!!

If you need a tow, call Mal's!!! My husband and I were on our return trip home and our alternator went on I-95 in East Lyme, CT and we needed to go back home to Philadelphia, PA. We called AAA and Mal's picked up the call!!The tow truck driver, TJ, was so knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. A great driver and conversationist --no this isn't a tinder profile! We were so grateful that someone drove us and our sprinter van back 200+ miles home.We are so appreciative for the amazing service that we received and highly recommend anyone to them. Thank again!!

They replaced a broken window for me. Had some issues after I picked it up but they made it right and that’s all that matters. Everyone was very polite and courteous. Would recommend to anyone.
