“Everyone at Nutmeg Pharmacy has gone out of their way to provide the medication my son needs. He is a transplant patient and has specialized medical needs. They have been like family to us, making sure he has everything he needs. We have relocated to another state and there are no pharmacies that offer the amazing care that Nutmeg Pharmacy has. They deliver, which is an added bonus. I have recommended them to many people I know that also love them.”
“I have an 88 yo Mother who needed a Flu Shot, Nagy and his fabulous team actually came to here house to administer the shot. This saved a major problem loading her up and exposing her to a potentially live threatening virus exposure. Call CVS or Walgreens you’ll get the “deer in the headlights” look about making a house call. These small businesses need to survive, they are what define the community. Take your business there.”

“Walgreens in Deep River has greatly improved in the last few years. The general store part of it is well-stocked and well-organized with very friendly staff. The pharmacy is often out of my medication or my insurance doesn’t want to approve it so I know to reorder early. The staff has been very good about working with my insurance and resubmitting to get approval and make sure I can have my medication.My criticism is that their grounds and garden area seem pretty much an afterthought. I would like them to spend a bit of money on making their exterior prettier so it looks well-cared for and. Or like a 7-11 parking lot.”

“I Came in 10 minutes before close with a couple of emergency items needed. I figured I would not be greeted happily seeing how late it was. However, to my surprise Cody (Manager) was more than accommodating and happy to help. I was in and out quickly as I was sure the employees were ready and wanted to go home. The Manager Cody and The Cashier Mary, both treated me with curtsy, friendliness, and the professionalism that I more than appreciated. “I would like to complement the improved service and improved look of CVS in Niantic, Connecticut. The 2 women that were working on Monday evening were a refreshing experience. Kudos to them for improving the look and friendliness, which has not been the norm for quite some time. One suggestion, there are dead bugs at the base of all the windows that face the parking lot. Badly needs a clean up of the windows.This is our only pharmacy in town, take care of it. Thank you.”

“Have no idea why people are having issies with the pharmacy. Im in and out within a few minutes every time i go there. If they ever need to order anything they explain it to me and why they dont/cant have it in stock. Maybe go to the pharmacy acting like an adult ( without the childlike entitlement of "me first" ) and youre going to have a professional and coueteous expirience. If you treat people like dirt, how do you expect them to treat you? Seriously...”

“I had the best experience here. I was out of town visiting family when my son came down with an earache. They were very accommodating and pleasant. We didn’t feel rushed. Ann even took the time to show my son what an infected ear drum looks like compared to a non infected one. Thank you Ann you were very lovely!”

“In these pandemic times it is sometimes hard to make a store work well. Especially because staff shortages are affecting everyone and everything. You can clearly tell that this Walgreens is affected, too, but the few employees that are there are trying hard to be friendly and efficient. True, wait times at the pharmacy have increased a lot, but let's give people a break. They are just as stressed out as most of us are right now. Hopefully at some point in the not too distant future things will change to the better and service will speed up again!”
