Pet Care
Clark Veterinary Hospital
445 Shore Rd, Old LymeI've been a client of Dr. Clark for over 5 years for my cat, and recently added a golden doodle puppy to our family. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and Dr. Clark is very patient with my questions (and my inquisitive children's ). There is plenty of parking, and a large grassy area for potty breaks. When you arrive you call the front office and let them know - and they will call you back when it's time for you to come inside - this is great because you can wait in the comfort of your car and also reduce interactions with other animals. The prices are reasonable, and the care is top notch. We will be clients of Dr. Clark for life!

Pet Sitting & Training
My Toy Kennel
29 Old Stagecoach Rd, Old LymeI cannot say enough about this hidden gem. The care and attention that our Landseer (Newfoundland) received while boarding at My Toy Kennel was exceptional. The kennel is clean, spacious and in a spectacular setting. Bill is extremely attentive and in tuned with a dogs needs and treats them absolutely as if they were his own. He is wonderful communicating with dog parents while their pets are in his care and each pet receives a”report card” upon check out. Duffy returned happy and raring to go (not to mention bathed and beautifully groomed). We couldn’t be happier and are confident that we will be returning customers!

Florence Griswold Museum
96 Lyme St, Old LymeA few weeks ago, I had an opportunity to visit this gem of a museum, whilst on our travels to the CT shoreline. What a marvelous place! My visit to the FloGris was long overdue! I thoroughly enjoyed the roughly three hours I had, to explore their collection of fine paintings, from some of the most renowned American Impressionist master painters of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. I am a huge fan of both Childe Hassam’s and William Chadwick’s artwork, so I was especially delighted to see the many paintings of theirs, that they have in their collection. I was also excited to be able to visit at a time of year, when William Chadwick’s studio was open, as I got to see that, as well! The grounds and Florence’s main house, are impeccably maintained, with splendid views all around, of the property, and its gardens! The building that houses the modern galleries and gift shop, is spacious and well laid out! I can’t say enough, about what a treasure this place is! Especially the painted wood panels in and around the dining room of Florence’s historic home, as well as the other furnishings and paintings throughout. If you are an artist, an aspiring artist, an art connoisseur, or simply just a lover of American history, this place is definitely hallowed ground, and should be on your bucket list! I can’t wait to return!
