“One of my favorite places to shop in Greenwich and a total gem. Splurge has a fantastic curation of jewelry, accessories, and home furnishings for sale. There's always a great range of seasonal items- right now, there's a ton of spring and Easter options- in a wide price range, and they're more unique, not necessarily what you'd find in any store. There are also staples like candles, picture frames, and jewelry available year round. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they have great gift wrapping. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program, too! If you're looking for a gift, you'll absolutely find what you need in Splurge, but you'll also probably find five things for yourself!”

Besides doing a great job repairing all of the items we took to them (lamps, outdoor lanterns, etc.), the customer service on every level was AMAZING. They were all extremely friendly and helpful. “Truly an amazing collection of antiques and vintage items. There are several dealers at this design center; while each has their own unique style - including which design period(s) they focus on collecting and presenting - and way of decorating their space, it all comes together to create a beautifully-curated, design-lovers' paradise. Whether you're looking for a statement piece of furniture, the perfect objet d'art, or a new (vintage) piece of art to grace your walls - Avery & Dash is a great place to explore. There is a good mix of prices but definitely what is expected for the quality of pieces presented (please understand, these are authentic vintage and antique pieces in fantastic condition and therefore are priced as collectors' items or investment pieces). Also, the design center staff was very helpful - they greeted us when we went in, allowed us to browse around without hovering, and offered info when I found some things I was interested in (they were very accessible had I needed them sooner). They were the perfect mix of helpful and accessible - without being pushy - and friendly when we started talking. Just go - stroll around, see beautiful things, and even if the prices are outside the budget, inspiration abounds here! I found 3 or 4 mid-century modern buffets/credenzas and 2 dining sets I wanted to take home. If you're there to take it all in, give yourself at least an hour or two - there really is a lot to see. And last but not least - there is a decent amount of parking right near the store.”

“I needed a rug repair and cleaning for my Bokhara vintage classic rug due to damage from moths that got to eating it up in storage. I had the best experience working with Heather in the rug store who was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She had the repair guy come within 48 hours of my store visit and the repair and cleaning was done in a week. I was amazed with the final repair and it looks brand new. Highly recommend if you have a rug needing repair go see Heather.”

“Late in reporting, but I am inspired as I'm disappointed the same account executive is no longer at DWR. By chance I encountered Renai Lewis-Brochard in April 2020 when I made the decision to purchase two Carl Hansen Wishbone chairs for my home during Covid home lockdown. Living in Hawaii where there is no DWR studio I shopped on line and opened an online chat with Renai. She was a delight to work. She addressed all my concerns, sent me some computer rendering of what the chairs would look like in my home, sent me the samples I requested, and followed through until after delivery. This year's online sale isn't going as well. DWR doesn't have samples for items in their sale catalogue or offered online and there's no idea when they might be available.”

“I love the owner! I love the wonderful women who have worked there forever, at least 26 years!! I love the GGGGGORGEOUS sheets, the fluffy bestest towels, the fine linen embroidered tissue box covers, the soaps, the blanket covers, the placemats, I must have 6 sets of luscious napkins, French laundry towel wash. There is more packed into the shop than you could ever dream of! If they ever close I'd have to leave town! Lol Their biggest fan!!”

“We moved to Connecticut in 2021 and needed a decent amount of new furniture. We worked with Derek L at the shop to choose a large sectional for our living room. In a year, the cushions had started to disintegrate and I called. He immediately ordered brand new cushions and we swapped them out. Again, this summer, I noticed they were disintegrating again. I realized the gray leather of the couch was starting to resemble an elephant on a liquid diet. They offered new cushions again, which I appreciated, but when I indicated that a couch at this price point shouldn't need new cushions every 9-12 months. He agreed, came out and inspected the couch and worked with us to honor the lifetime guarantee and replace the couch with a brand new, different model. Derek was an absolute GEM to work with, patiently answering each phone call and email from me over a period of months. RH is not where you shop for a bargain, and this type of customer service makes every dollar worth it.”

“Baccarat is a wonderful line, and thus I enjoy the boutique located conveniently along the Avenue. I have been coming here for several years now, and have found many excellent gifts here. The selection is great, between the stemware and barware, and the other decorative items. The woman who is there (short and blonde) is simply excellent. Every time I come in, I am greeted warmly. She has helped me choose several excellent pieces, and is always very informative about the merchandise. Several days ago, I went in looking for a Christmas gift, and was shown an exquisite bowl in the traditional Baccarat crystal styling. It was wonderful, and something I never would have known about had I looked online. It is this attention to detail and excellent service that makes in-person shopping so good. I have also ordered online from the boutique and it is ready to be retrieved when I stop by. This shop is a wonderful asset to Greenwich Avenue and I would strongly recommend it for the discriminating.”
