If you're looking for a reliable, affordable and compassionate veterinarian in Norwalk, this is the place to go. I was referred here by PAWS when I adopted my dog Bentley and for the past year I couldn't be more grateful to the entire staff team at Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital. They are responsive, attentive and it's easy to see they have Bentley's best interest at heart. Whether it's a phone call with questions or diagnostic testing and checkups, I feel very confident my dog is getting the best care possible. I highly recommend this clinic for your pets.

DO NOT GO HERE! We have been going here for 3 years now and they know both of our dogs pretty well. They know our 9 year old mini American Eskimo has bad reactions to vaccines. They pushed the vaccines on us and didn’t pre-care for our one that is sensitive. She had a severe reaction to the vaccine and has been pooping/puking up straight blood for hours. We took her to the hospital and they are keeping her overnight. The vets at the hospital said the specific vaccines are unnecessary for these 2 dogs because they don’t go to dog daycare, but the Strawberry Hill animal hospital continues to push them. This place is a money grab and not only did we pay $600 for shots they didn’t need, we now have to pay $2,000- 3,000 for an overnight visit. Never going to this place again, highway robbery and we might lose part of our family tonight.

I am absolutely disgusted by what happened today. I hope your $15 BS boarding fee for me taking 8 minutes to get my dog was worth this 1 star review you're about to get from me. I could care less about the money, its the principle of the matter. We are great returning customers of theirs, and to be charged something SO ridiculous really angered me. So someone has to wait the whole hour in the parking lot while you take a look at my dog..? God forbid I go down the street for a coffee or home to grab the paperwork they wanted. Upon arriving early, in the freezing cold, we went to the door, called and were told there were no assistants ready to take my dog so we would have to wait outside. They called & brought her in about 8-10 mins late to begin with. But then you call me to tell me shes all set an hr later, and I say 15 mins and you tell me i'm now being charged to board the dog, which didnt even happen..! I rushed over, & actually got there in under 10 mins, but again had to go thru the process of calling to have them bring my dog out. I wouldn't be there w/out an appointment, their process is stupid & over the top. My dogs have always seemed scared of this place anyway. Best believe I gave them an attitude about this, and they still charged it. what a joke. Would give 0 stars today if I could. It's a shame because Stacey has always been nice. Nicole is NOT.

The best service, care, fair pricing and treatment of my pets has been here. I've lived in Norwalk with pets for almost all my life and this has been the best vet I have delt with locally.

We were very unhappy with our previous vet and was referred to try Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital. We are very happy with the clean environment, knowledgeable and experienced staff, and the treatment my dog has received. We are especially thankful for Ally and Jennifer who always care for my dog, Mocha.

Both of my very different cats see Dr Neal at SHAH. I’m always impressed with their knowledge, compassion, and patience. I live about 40 minutes away but it’s so worth the drive because my cats get the best care there.

Whether it's been something simple or far more complex, they have been wonderful. I'm grateful for Dr. Chase and Dr. Neal and the compassion they showed us with our older dog toward the end of his life and for the many times Dr. Neal sat with us or took our calls when we were frantic. They are kind and compassionate and we are glad to have such a wonderful vet close by.

Our pets are long time patients of both Strawberry Hill and A Cat's Place. We could not do it without the fine staff at both locations, and of course the leadership of Dr. Santisi. We love Dr. Doherty at A Cat's Place - there's really none better when it comes to cats - and we have the utmost respect for Dr. Santisi for always going the extra mile for our dog, Marley, and making time to see him even when he (Dr. Santisi) really doesn't have the time. They work with us to make sure we can treat our animals with the dignity and respect they deserve, and they honor that these animals are our family. I cannot say more about Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital; the staff is so compassionate, so kind and so professional - we love them!

We've been taking our animals here for almost 20 years. They've been with us through the good times and the hard times and have been amazing. I adore Dr. Neal, Stacy, Tori, Jessica and all of the staff - I wouldn't entrust my dog's care with anyone else but SHAH!
