Watermelon advertised at $3.99 and no minimum spend mentioned, but was told to spend $10 min at the register. Stop and Shop would have honoured it. Terrible customer service.

Customer Service employees are so rude, several times I have encountered this. Try to return something that's really bad and they will find some excuse not to refund. Managers seem to stand around not being very helpful. Used to be a good store, but not anymore. Can't wait for Wegmans to open, then bye ShopRite.

On 6/25/25 at 5.28pm. Register #2 was the only Register without a bagging assistant. Manager Musthafa and a older white individual wearing a sport jacket were in front of me and saw me bagging my own groceries, and didn't even offer any help. I'm not sure if he knows what customer service is, but 0/0 from me. I'm not coming back to this store again.

This is the best ShopRite in the area. I buy mostly from the produce section and they have a pretty good variety. Whole Foods has a lot more organic options and Trader Joe’s has better value on certain things I buy often (like sugar snap peas). Their cut fruit here is also unfortunately way more expensive than at Trader Joe’s but compared to the Fairfield ShopRite this one is far superior. I’m not surprised it’s always busier here than at the Stop and shop across the street - whose produce section is just YIKES lol. This ShopRite is also always very well staffed.

Every time I get avocados at Costco right down the street, they’re perfect, and when I get avocados at Shop rite, they don’t ripen nicely and are stringy and gross. Also the broccoli has been brown and mushy lately, pass.

Best experience with Connor!! The seafood department is clean, diverse, and so well informed! You can tell he takes pride in what he does and makes every courtesy with the customer. I would have mistaken him for the store manager!!
