I went to Sephora today on my birthday (November 4) to pick up my birthday gift, and the employee Nino was extremely rude. She told me the system had my birthday listed as March but said she could change it and that it would take 24 hours to process.
I told her I could show my driver’s license so I could still get my birthday gift today, and she put her hands up and said, “No, I don’t wanna see that.” When I told her she was being rude, she got defensive and said she was going to cancel the whole thing instead of helping me. She even called me stupid to her coworkers afterward.
It was honestly disrespectful and unnecessary. I left feeling disappointed. No one deserves that kind of treatment, especially on their birthday. Sephora should make sure their employees treat customers with kindness and professionalism.

went during tax free week, so i understand the staff was likely stretched thin. and for the most part, staff seemed very pleasant and helpful. however, the employee checking me out, sumura (i think that was her name, spelling could be wrong) was incredibly short and rude. she started checking me out while the guest in front of me was still collecting their merchandise. she got visibly annoyed when the number i gave her was not affiliated with account and then again when i did not want to open an account, before calling to the person behind me while i was still standing there. i understand it was probably a very tiring week for retail employees, and that she was likely trying to get everything done as quickly as possible, however this was probably the rudest retail experience i’ve ever had, and i am not sure what i did wrong to warrant such an attitude.

Sephora is by far my favorite store to shop and always come across great staff but unfortunately at this specific location the staff isn’t very welcoming and they don’t even ask if you need assistance with anything.

I will not be returning back to this store ever again. Everyone who works in this location is rude but today for the second time I was checked out by Samantha and she’s been very nasty towards people of color and that’s not cool. This whole store needs to be shut down.

I had a personalized beauty lesson with Kiara, who was incredibly knowledgeable, precise, and kind. I learned so much about makeup that I didn’t know before. She was patient and professional, providing me with application techniques, recommending the best products and practices, and offering skincare advice for long-lasting results. I truly enjoyed my session with her, and ever since, I haven’t been able to stop using the products! I would definitely recommend her!

me and my cousin came in for a return and also wanted to buy another purchase. We worked with this lady named nina who had a very rude demeanor and was rolling her eyes at everything said to us we told her multiple times what we were trying to return and what we wanted to purchase afterwards, And when it came down to it, she had a miss misunderstanding and thought we were trying to return both things which was fine, but we corrected her. She more of an attitude and acted like we have not told her multiple times and that it was our problem. she didn’t apologize rather just kept on rolling her eyes like it was a big annoyance to her. when asked for her manager, she told her she was the manager, and when asked for another manager to walk out, she had lied and told us none of the managers were on the floor at that moment. eventually, we found out that that was not the case, and that she had just been lying to us.

Just came in to the store for a return and had the worst experience with one of the ladies working here. Her name was Nina and she had long brown hair. While making the return she repeatedly would roll her eyes to everything and was grunting and making sounds like she was annoyed. When I gave her the receipt she took it and gave an attitude about it not being the correct recipe saying “this is for the moisturizer” which we did buy a moisturizer too, it was a multiple item purchase but was just trying to return one of the items. when she realizes she was wrong she doesn’t apologize and just wants to continue. throughout the rest of the transaction she was being rude and very disrespectful for no reason at all.

Autumn was amazing! She helped me find my foundation shade which is not an easy feat for me. She gave me some advice based on the type of foundations I liked and I really appreciated that. She had told me about this fenty promotion too (if you buy $50 worth of product you get a little goody bag) She signed me up for their rewards program and I got a lot of cool stuff from it! Thank you Autumn !

I really want to recognize Nino. I went there to buy a brush I was told for one of the associates the brush was out of stock and I told her the website showed availability.I told her to check and she said I am positive it is our stock. Then I went to buy a lipgloss and Nino came to ask if I need help, she went to check in the back .She found it. Great job, She took care of me with a smile. There is couple people who loves their job. Nino is one of them. Keep up the good work.

I am usually treated nicely at Sephora. However, this time they were incredibly rude at the Sono Mall. I wanted to return an eye cream that was $54. I tried it once and I broke out. Returning it was so difficult because I was 1 day past their return policy… sorry it’s not always easy to get to the mall. The lady at the register said she was a manager but decided to be useless and rude. I refused to leave and they got someone else… I assume the real manager who said ok to return. I have spent so much money there over the years but not anymore.And you can’t return Sephora items to the Sephora that’s in Kohls… makes no sense to me bc it sounds like the same company to me.In any case, sped your money in places where people are nice.

The inventory in this store is almost always low but the lack of customer service is what turns me away from this location. I needed help with purchasing a product and walked as employees stood talking to each other about weekend plans or made eye contact with me and then turned their backs to stand and do nothing. I was finally able to get a manager who had to instruct an employee to help me. If you have the time to spare and drive further I'd highly recommend trying Sephora in Milford, CT. They offer a much wider range of inventory and the customer service is phenomenal.
