Every time we drive through we pick up a bunch of hard to find Danish and swedish food to bring home. Flaeskesteg, asier, fresh rugbrod, herring, licorice... The list goes on and on. We love this place.

I love this shop! It is filled with delicacies from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, etc… I enjoy purchasing Christmas decorations (like nissen), princess cake, cardamon bread, and cloudberry preserves among other things there. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s worth the trip; especially before/during Christmas time.?????????

The store is very nice, there are some cool things that you typically don’t see at a regular store in the US. However, the staff is not very welcoming: whenever I come in the store, the ladies working there are very silent and never greet you. Also, the store is overpriced; a small toy rabbit was $28

Came at 3:10. Stote should be open until 5. Lady informed me that store is closed. No warning what so ever.

Limited selection of items to ease the nostalgia. Went in wanting brunkage and salt licorice and they had both. The lady behind the counter wasn't talkative and missed the opportunity to upsell me as I would have bought more if she recommended some new items or told me more about what they were trying to do. The cookies were OK but reminded me that I should bake my own despite potash not easily found in grocery stores here.

I ordered 27 bags of Guldkarameller and 5 bags were almost expired and tasted old. The remaining 22 bags were 4 months from expiring. I will never order from this store again.

Great selection of products from the old country, and even better customer service. We have been customers for many years, and depend on SB for our traditional holidays. I don't know what we would do without this place, keep up the good work!

The amount of stuff from Europe that you just can't find anywhere else around this area. There fresh pulla or cardamon bread is to die for! Great around the Christmas season with all the amazing ornaments and foods!!

Wonderful selection of food! They have herring in curry sauce! Didn't realize that outside of Denmark, buying karry sild is like looking for a needle in a haystack! I opted out for delivery as I did not find the time to travel to Norwalk, but the way the perishable items were packaged was amazing. I got everything on time and in perfect condition. However, I do need to go to the store in person!
