I am so impressed with this family business! I love to just browse and look at the many displays they have created to both educate and entertain their customers. Their staff is knowledgeable and customer service is excellent. I understand that I may even be paying more than some of the larger companies but I get that back in quality and trustworthiness. I buy my wood from Reynolds every year. Sometimes I can't take all of it so they store it for me. Where can you get that feature? The wood arrives and the piece count is always correct. In fact, I have seen them add a couple/few pieces to ensure customer satisfaction. The wood is hard woods and seasoned. They carefully explained to me that there are CT laws that actually state what the seller has to do when they state seasoned in their ads. They helped me landscape portions of my property and I can't be more satisfied. They can do it all. You can simply ask them to help you pick out products according to your plan and they help you do it. Or you can ask for them to design it and deliver it and plant it. Of course their is a price structure and more costs more. Also what a wonderful place to go Christmas/Holiday shopping! I highly recommend it! I'm looking forward to my next visit. If you want to trade with honest people who sincerely want to help you Reynolds is your place.

I love this nursery. Every plant I've purchased from here is thriving. Plus, it is so wonderful to walk around and be inspired. Is it more expensive than big box stores? Yes. Can I afford to buy every plant here? No. But I am always happy about the ones I do buy here and plan to come back for more plants again and again in the future !!

Absolutely appalling how this place stays in business. The people who come here must be absolutely clueless as to what prices of plants and trees should be. They charge DOUBLE-TRIPPLE of legit anywhere else you go. When I asked why they had their prices so high when down the street multiple places have the same thing for half if not less then their price they just smiled and shrugged. They know exactly what they are doing here. Taking advantage of anyone who doesn’t do a little research for themselves before purchasing a plant. Go anywhere else with your money and you’ll walk out with 10x as much as you would here and a 10x better experience

This review is for the landscaping services specifically. We hired Reynolds Farms to redo the landscaping on our property. They made some good recommendations on trees and plants and we spent thousands of dollars on the materials and the labor. Problem: there were two snow fountain cherry trees they planted in the backyard that were right up against the house. While the workers were here we asked them THREE TIMES to NOT plant the trees too close to the house and to move them away. Despite our multiple requests they continued on with their work and assured us it would be no problem to move the trees in the spring if we were unhappy. When the trees started growing right into our house they told me to prune the side closest to the house which made the trees look lopsided. In the spring I asked them to come take a look and make good on their promise to move the trees- I assumed this would be at no charge. The guy who came out said it would cost another $800 to move the trees- this after they told us it wouldn't be a problem to move them! I don't think it's a good practice to not do a good job the first time and then try to charge customers to fix the problem later.

Friendly and helpful staff regarding my selection and purchase of firewood. Multiple choices offered. You can pickup or have delivered most cords of wood. Even the log size will fit your application. They don't give quotes over phone or by email...but it was worth the visit.

Why? 1 Advice. 2 Nice. 3 Price. Let me explain. These people are so knowledgable and professional its scary! In general their plants are way way better, and in my experience they last longer. If you really really know how to pick plants theres a chance the big box stores will be OK, but in id rathe have one plant from RF than 10 from some big box. When it comes to general gardening, Sue is fantastic! Cory is an awesome landscape designer and Parker and crew always do a great job installing plants, bushes, trees, etc. Bottom line: The pros go with Reynolds. Just take a walk around there some day and enjoy the peace and serenity. Then go to Home Depot and experience .. well, you know.

Not the least expensive, but certainly the best value when one considers the quality of their plants and their invaluable advice! They also sent a crew to our house to plant the larger shrubs that we purchased, and they did the job on time (with a one day weather delay). Many of the same employees year after year, and they remember you, nice to be appreciated!

Reynolds did a fantastic job on a landscaping design and installation -- completely transformed my yard and added a variety of native plantings. We worked with Cory, who was incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and effective. These folks are the best at what they do -- pure professionals.

A nice nursery with a vast collection of houseplants and outdoor plants. They also have mulch and all gardening accessories. However, plants are more expensive than Home Depot or Walmart. They have awesome landscaping sculptures, planters, bamboo sticks and terracotta pots.

It is not a big place but they have excellent selection of trees and plants and flowers. Super friendly, plenty of parking and reasonable price. It is very conveniently located near the highway in Norwalk, CT.

Great business and super friendly people. However, beware of the firewood. I have purchased multiple cords from them and the wood has always been wet and doesn't burn well. It is not an issue of how the fire is started... once it starts it does not last and you can see moisture leaking out of the wood. Every time.

Such a beautiful place with a wonderful selection and very knowledgable staff. After my first visit, I was hooked: I came back the next day to buy more perennials and grasses for the yard; Surprise!!! It was their first annual 50% off sale... they even rented out an old fashioned "Good Humor" truck for their customers offering any visitors to their Garden Center a treat on them. What a nice customer focused and special thing to do. 5 Stars!! OH. and don't forget to spin the wheel after you check-out for a chance to win all sorts of great goodies. This family business is a winner and my number one choice. Thanks Reynolds!!!

Can't express enough how organized and well run this place is. Nurseries (at least in my experience) have always been a painful process but Reynolds Farms was an amazing experience. The place is incredibly well-organized, everything is labeled clearly, there are pictures to guide on what plants look like when full grown, the entire property is pleasant to walk through and the people are top notch. When is the last time you went to a nursery and have a consultant take the time to not only understand your needs but also make solid recommendations! Our landscape consultant quickly understood our general home setup, sunshine exposure/angles and made recommendations and just like that we selected several trees and plants and were done. We spent several thousand $ here and it was a pleasure to do so. Huge kudos to the team and ownership at Reynolds Farms.
