My wife had purchased a few inexpensive Oriental plant stands and they were on their last legs. I started looking for quality replacements on the Internet because I do not drive and it is difficult for me to get around. I found Oriental Furnishings and became intrigued. Their selection was amazing. However, most importantly was their reviews. Every one I read was favorable or better. (Yes they can be better than just 5 stars) I decided on 2 rosewood plant stands and a rosewood coffee table but I wasn't sure if the colors matched. So I called their phone number and spoke to Bill. (who I later discovered that he was an owner) He couldn't have been nicer. He listened to my needs and put me on hold to check if the colors matched and if they were still in stock. Within minutes he returned with "yes" to both questions. I had asked if it was possible to have the items delivered into my home since I am 69 years old and disabled. He said he would arrange it but it might take 2 weeks. I said fine and I was very satisfied. He called me the following week and said they could be delivered in 2 days, a Friday. That was fine with me. At approximately 11:00 am an SUV drove up to my home. It was my furniture. The gentleman knocked on my door and asked if I was expecting a delivery. I said yes and he started to bring them. I told him that Bill, who I spoke to on the phone, was a really nice guy and extremely helpful. He then introduced himself as Bill. He told me his driver didn't show up today so he drove from Connecticut to Long Island to deliver my furniture. Without me asking, he unpacked and checked everything to make sure they were ok. He even removed the packing material. I have to say, they were beautiful. The colors were perfect and I couldn't be happier. In this day and age it is very rare that you find someone that is so considerate and caring of others. My entire dealings with Oriental Furnishings was fantastic and I highly recommend that you look there for you Oriental furniture and decorating needs. You will not be sorry. If you remember, in the beginning of my review, I said a company could be better than 5 stars. Now you understand why. Bill was absolutely fantastic to work with and when it's times to purchase more furnishings, I will only use Oriental Furnishings!??????????

My first time shopping here and wow the service was fast, beautiful packaging ( safe and sound VERY!). You could order from anywhere in the world and KNOW your items will arrive undamaged. I bought a lamp and a tall table for it and just stunning with wonderful pricing. I have a lot of oriental furniture in my home and the quality from this store is one of the BEST I have seen.I highly recommend this store, it is 100% safe to order, deal with and receive ............and the quality you will admire every single time you see it and smile:) Just beautiful, luxurious. I will buy from them again!!!!!!!!!

The altar table we purchased as a sofa table was even more beautiful in person. The wood finish exquisite and the piece looks expensive and 'makes' our living room!!

Having never ordered from Oriental Furnishings before I was not sure what my experience would be. Pleasantly pleased. Desk is beautifully crafted, was simple to put together and packaged solidly to prevent damage. I have decided to use as a side table though instead of a desk. I feel it is a bit to narrow to act as my desk. Would recommend Oriental Furnishings without hesitation.

I recently purchased a Mongolian buffet from Oriental furnishing. They called me and we discussed shipping Logistics. When my Mongolian buffet arrived it was packaged very well without a scratch or a ding and the people were extremely professional at Oriental furnishings and the shipping company. Fine fine job well done!

Beautiful PlanterI am a frequent flyer at Oriental Furnishings, and they never disappoint. The planter is even more attractive in person. Even without a stand it is a very good size and makes just the right statement with a plant in our room.

Nice furniture and great customer service. A mother of pearl piece fell off during shipping (despite the very careful packing they did). Once I asked them what glue to use to re attach the piece, they immediately said they would ship me the appropriate glue. They did just that and it arrived a couple days later.

Oriental Furnishings (Norwalk, CT) has been our favorite furniture store for the past twenty years. We now have seven pieces from them including an antique Chinese chest, two Korean tansus, a wooden mirror, and two Hong Kong rosewood cabinets. Recently, we custom ordered a Chinese landscape armoire (see photo) which arrived even more beautiful than expected. The artwork is stunning. For all of these orders, Bill & Bette have been super helpful, friendly and professional. It is always a pleasure to shop with them. Thanks so much for the wonderful products and customer service!

They arrived unscathed in absolutely perfect condition inside, outside and delivery was fast. They are solid and very well made. I consider the warriors trunks as pieces of art. The trunks were expertly packed. So much so I probably spent over an hour outside removing all the wrapping. The team at Oriental Furnishings did a fantastic job. I did not realize that the trunks were that big or that nice based on the images on their webpage. They are a really good size and look gorgeous! This has been one of the best buyers experience I have ever had thanks to you and your crew. I can’t say enough about the customer service I received Oriental Furnishings from start to finish. It is incomparable! Everything went so smoothly and quickly. I am so impressed! One of the trunks will be seen by a lot of people and I am pretty sure they are going ask were I obtained it. Of course I will direct them to Oriental Furnishings. Great top notch people there. If you are looking at ordering this trunk or any other Oriental furniture, art, antiquities, hard to find Oriental item.... etc. do not order any items anywhere else. Order from Oriental Furnishings. Ownership and staff are the very best! If I could give them more than a five star rating I would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...etc!

I bought the Rectangular Porcelain Tea Jar with White Glaze and Oriental Metallic Goldfish. It was carefully packaged and shipped quickly. It is so beautiful. I just love it.

I purchased a Chinese Silk Shanghai Crystal Table Lamp from the Oriental Furniture Warehouse in Norwalk, CT in May of 2022 (shipped May 21, 2022) in the amount of $95.18 (including shipping and taxes). When the lamp stopped working on March 15, 2023. I contacted the store and was told by the representative (Melissa) that she was forwarding my complaint to their Claims Department for action and I would hear from them in 3-5 days. I received a call on March 22, 2023 and this representative said that I should look for a lamp repair shop in my area to get the lamp repaired - that perhaps it was just a loose wire or something like that. He suggested a local repair shop where I could get the lamp repaired. When I inquired whether I would be reimbursed for the repair since the lamp was less than a year old, I was told that even though Oriental Furniture Warehouse stand behind their products, his manager said that they do not reimburse their customers for defective products. I have purchased other items from this store and have not encountered a problem like this in the past. Needless to say, this outcome is unacceptable and I certainly cannot recommend this establishment.

Great company. I found what I wanted and called customer service to get more details on the pot I wanted. I needed to be sure of the color. I was also going away at the time item would be scheduled for delivery. They were so accommodating on the shipping. I placed my order and they delayed shipment so it would arrive when I returned. The pot was securely packed and protected. The pot was exactly the color they said it would be and arrived in perfect condition. I couldn’t be happier with this company. I would rate it 100 stars for service and quality.

What to do when no stores in Atlanta, GA have a hexagonal stand for a large porcelain hexagonal vase? Go online to Oriental Furnishings, not only for their wide variety of inventory but also for their genuine willingness to help the customer find just the right item, the perfect fit, the perfect look. That's what happened for me and I cannot be more grateful. Look for what they have and ask their help. You won't be disappointed.

The buffet server and two end tables I ordered were even more spectacular looking in person than on the website. They positively make our open living room and dining area magazine cover ready! The crew at Oriental Furnishings professionally packed these pieces for the trip from Connecticut to Hawaii. Each piece arrived in perfect condition. Saying I am thrilled with my experience would be an understatement!
