I and my brother stayed at The Norwalk Inn for 2 nights last week in The Guesthouse. Room accommodations were excellent. Office staff, waiters, bartenders were all friendly, courteous and professional. Will stay there again when in the area.

We chose this hotel for the location and that it advertised a restaurant. Our room was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. However, the rest of the hotel and service did not live up to expectations.
The restaurant was closed and had been for a while apparently. Food was available the bar area, however several items were not available. The bartender was friendly and said they would understand if we wanted to go somewhere else. The real problem was at checkout. I noticed that they had taken $100 more than the price of the room. When I checked out and brought it to the attention of the receptionist, he advised me that this was a room deposit. (Which is fine by me), however, when I politely asked why I wasn’t informed of this at check in, he was extremely rude and told me that this happens in every hotel around the world. I have travelled a lot and know this is not “always” the case. His attitude and customer service was very unprofessional and very unhelpful.

Three nights, three rooms. Terrible bed first night. Loud music from neighbors and ?no one could do anything about it? The second.
Rooms on the 'cottage' are 'recently renewed'. The missed on the noise insulation and the decorator must be strongly attached to past decades style...
It sells itself as a luxury hotel, it falls well short of it.

The food at Norwalk Inn is absolutely amazing! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend trying their dishes—you won’t be disappointed

Not a very good experience at this place. Lots of problems trying to access my room that someone had paid for me. Once that was figured out, we got sent to a room that someone had JUST used! Food everywhere, a used bed and bathroom towels. The room was never cleaned! Finally, the room they sent us to was nice, but there was a terrible humming noise the entire time. It was as if we were directly below the rooftop AC unit and the walls were paper thin. It's a shame, the room was nice, but the experience was terrible. Would NOT stay here again.
