When a customer drives up to the drive-thru teller, the customer should not have to fence, bob and weave at employee attitude, snippy questions and semi-rude tone of voice. The customer should receive respect, after all, we are YOUR CUSTOMERS. Management needs to bring and maintain employee level of service to an acceptable if not superior level; if not--management should be held accountable to "drive thru employee attitude". Do they feel braver because they are behind a "screen" and not in person? Is it our job to figure out why we get attitude? It is our job to complete transactions without snotty attitude--it is employee's job to SERVE CUSTOMERS RESPECTFULLY.

I love this bank! I have been a member for more than 20 years, and even with changes in staff, I feel the personal experience every time I go in or (covid) use the drive-thru. Thank you for keeping that home-town feel of a bank who knows who you are.

I have been banking with this institution for over 8 years. I love the small banks and credit unions for all the perks they give as well as the convenience of being able to withdraw money without penalty from many ALL POINT cash dispensers. After banking with them for so many years and proving to them consistency and responsibility, I underwent a major life changing event and wanted to refinance on my loan payment and looked to them given my years with them. The financial analyst at my Norwalk branch said that I would be an ideal candidate and would get a great rate so I went through the process with her fully disclosing to her my situation and my credit rating which at the time wasn't great but wasn't bad but was no longer in the high 700s. After going through all the paper work and answering all questions and furnishing all documentations, I was flat out denied while other institutions were giving me loans at a good rate but not great rate. I was furious especially since I was led to believe otherwise-I didn't even get approved with a lower rate! My most recent encounter with them was at their new Norwalk location on Connecticut Avenue. I went to deposit a check and it was an uneven amount like $352.84. I wanted to take $53 of that amount and deposit the rest and give them $.16 to make it an even $300 o deposit. I was told I couldn't do that as they cannot accept change. Really??? Is change no longer money?? This is a bank??? I was soo very turned off by such an idiotic move! In this day and age to not be able to deposit change unless it is in rolls is petty and absurd! I am waiting to deplete my checks then I will close out the account. And to boot, when I had to change account numbers due my account being compromised, I called them immediately after making the discovery. They changed the account numbers quickly and notified me via email. I called them to get my new account number and after going through the lengthy process of proving my true identity, they refused to give me my account number over the phone-I completely understand the precautions but you want me to physically go to the bank...it's 12 miles from my home! So I call back and get this nice man who also proved to be clueless (Thomas)the financial assistant told me he would email me my account number via my online banking account. He emails me a WRONG account number! I in turn provide that to my place of employment for my direct deposit and after 2 weeks am told the number was incorrect and I would get a paper check-no problem! But guess what? Due to my not satisfying a monthly direct deposit, my banking was not free for 2 months! This institution is a joke and truly incompetent and inconsistencies lurk with at this financial institution! I highly recommend any other credit union but this one!!! Run fast and with all your change to somewhere else!!!!!

Awful.....sad I’ve been a customer since it was Timex over 20 years ago. The tellers they hire are rude, arrogant, and condescending. The managers are unprofessional and have zero compassion for you or your money. I will make it my mission to spread the news over CT as it’s nearly time for me to depart this credit union and go to our other bank Thomaston Savings Bank where you are treated respectfully!

Terrible bank. I have deposited money twice that went missing. Once took cash through ATM, spit out my card and no receipt, another time my checks went missing for over a month till I started threatening to report them, then they were magically found in 10 minutes. They constantly block credit cards purchases for suspended fraud (many under $5) and since they don't have 24 hour customer service it's impossible to get help. Bank elsewhere.

Went to Shelton office women at front desk very rude and unprofessional. Did not answer any of my questions in regards to a loan and refused to let me speak with anyone in the back. I see why they are rated two stars.

Horrible customer service. I tried to call 4 different branch locations to make a payment on my loan and every single one was busy, once I actually got through to the Norwalk, CT branch hung up on me twice. They also don't offer any online payment option.

The worst experience at a bank I've ever had. The branch manager has no people skills and seems bored with his job. Instead of helping me, he acted like a three-year old (and I know because I used to work at a pre-school.) I left feeling harassed and verbally abused. I closed my account.

About to switch banks- I have been a customer for many years, the personality of this bank has definitely changed. It used to have a heart and now does not- I had my son and daughter, one a new college graduate and my son, about to graduate, open accounts there. The bank decided a day early to pull a large payment from my daughter's account, she was paid today, and the day the payment was supposed to be made. Nope they already pulled it already and charged her an over draft fee...she doesn't have a lot of money, just starting out- my accounts do, and they showed no mercy towards the small account holder. I am quite disgusted- be warned if you want an automatic payment withdrawn it comes out THE DAY BEFORE YOU ASK THEM TO DO IT -be warned, even the teller at the bank did not know that, and they forgive NO ONE!
