Thank you Nelson, Jesus, Elio, Brian, Lester, Mark and the cleaning staff for making Merrit River a nice place to live. All are very friendly staff. I love having the pool, coffee bar and gym. My unit has been updated with really nice granite countertops and hardwood floors throughout. I love that I’m able to have my cats live with me and that this is a pet friendly community! Mandy Fisher

Awesome apartment complex, staff is always ready to help. Jesus was very helpful with any questions and helping with move in. Nelson is an amazing property manager. Lester and mark are very helpful when it comes to work orders as well.

Was given the apartment right next to the train line and not great if you would like to sleep peacefully. There are trains that run at 2 am.

I truly enjoy living at Merritt River. The amenities are great; they have a pool open all summer, the gym is always clean and not super packed, and the coffee machine is great! The staff is very reliable and friendly, they always greet my family and I as we enter the building or are passing by them in the hallway or lobby. Nelson is an awesome property manager who has clearly trained his staff well because no question is ever left unanswered. Jesus is always there to help. Mark and Lester are great with helping to resolve issues throughout the building. I will continue to live here for many more years.

I've been living at Merritt River for the past 2 years and just renewed my lease for the 3rd year! So far it has been a positive experience living here. You get a lot for the price of rent (covered garage, pool, gym, etc.). Another positive thing about Merritt River is that it is conveniently located in Norwalk.

Merritt River is an awesome from the amenities to the staff.Lester,mark and Laura make sure hallways are clean and any work orders are done. Nelson and Jesus are great at helping with any questions with leasing and help with making moving in and out as easy as possible.Elio is so nice and always great me and helps me with any packages I may have.

I’ve lived at Merritt River for about 4 years now and I still love it! The management team of Nelson and Jesus are wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind. Nelson is a great property manager, always going the extra mile to make sure everything is going good. The maintenance crew is quick and reliable especially Lester and Laura. The newest member of the concierge team, Elio is so friendly and helpful. Merritt River is a child friendly environment. They have frequent events for families to partake in. It’s a clean and a safe place to live. If I notice something being dirty or messy and I notify the staff, they are quick to clean it up. I would recommend living here to anyone!

RUN!!! FAR AWAY from this dump!! These people are thieves and scam artists. Idk where to begin. 1st of all they couldn’t even be on time for a simple showing of the apartment. Jesus was 45 minutes late then gave a bunch of excuses about it. Then we get shown an apartment which was supposedly a direct copy of the actual apartment we were supposed to be in. We walk in and the apartment is in actual shambles. Garbage bags everywhere & dirty!! How is that acceptable to show new renters?? To be honest, the entire apartment building is dirty looking. I couldn’t wait to get out of it. We put $1000 down for a holding fee (only held for 2 days max) and we were told it was not to be returned bc we backed out.. we never signed a lease agreement. We decided not to pursue it bc of the absolutely horrible experience we had going into it. I should have known to run for the hills when one of their own renters asked who we were looking for bc Jesus was so late we were just in limbo for 45 minutes and we said Jesus, he rolled his eyes and laughed. Please do yourself a favor and do not rent here. Go literally anywhere else but Merritt Dump. It’s ok bc at the end of the day, we’re not paying $3000/month of our hard earned money to these crooks. So we won. And by the looks of these other terrible reviews, we made the right choice. We’re not desperate enough to live here. The pictures online and what you see in person are like night and day. RUN!!!!

If this is a last resort this place is perfect for you and family. I don't know where to start. 1) The freight elevator has been out for months. 2) The carpet on all floors is stink and outdated. 3) The walls on most floors are patched up and scratched up and has not been painted in years. 4) The parking lot has garbage everywhere and overflow of trash by elevators daily. 5) The maintenance crew does nothing besides hang out in the office and grill in the summertime instead of fixing issues. 6) Takes weeks for us to get a response or assistance from maintenance. 7) Windows and outside of building is also dirty and needs to be power washed. 8) One of the grill doors has been off for over a year and just looks tacky. 9) Gym is outdated and will be lucky if it works when you need it. 10) Public bathrooms all over buildings are dirty or out of order (pool bathrooms and gym). 11) elevators inside needs to be renovated. If this is a last resort this place is fine. How ever be prepared to wait forever for things to get done. In my opinion they need to hire more people to help out and get rid of the management team because someone or some people clearly does not care (AJI).
