180 Main St, Norwalk“I just moved to Sono and wandered into Black Bear. I've found my new go to liquor store. Ethan provides excellent recommendations and has a great selection.”
“Just stopped into BevMax over by Costco. They hire the nicest, most polite and helpful employees....to a person. Have never had anything but service with a smile when I go in there. Kudos!”
“Stew’s is my go-to place for all my beverages. Lemme tell you why: Yes, it’s big and has all the brands. Yes, the prices are really competitive. But the people who work there are SUPER knowledgeable. When it comes to wine in particular, it can be overwhelming walking into a giant super-store like Total Wine or BevMax. Vast collections of vino are organized by varietal or region and little more.
Stew’s connoisseurs, led by JoAnn LoGiurato and her team, are highly educated and beyond helpful. Better still, they’ve set up sections that offer wines by rating (90+ wines under $30, etc.) that is super helpful when you want to try something new. They also have a labeling system that denotes staff favorites, which is a nice touch and allows you to develop relationships with the team.
Simply put, there’s nowhere else I’d rather go to pick up my favorite bottles or for guidance in trying something new. Ask for JoAnn—she’s the best!”
“I'm so glad I decided to stop in to the new store. The owner Sunny was such a great help. When someone helps you save a dollar, especially in the times we are in now i say we continue to support. I will definitely be a repeat customer and tell all my friends and family about this new liquor store!!”

“I do not like cold beer slightly cool yes warm definitely not but I do not like cold beer. For the last several years many years every time I've gone in there that always had a couple of single bottles tucked away on one of the shelves outside the cooler just for me. I will actually drive out of my way to go to the store.”
“Decent selection of scotches. Craft beers and domestic brands. Lots of those tiny little airplane bottles they used to give away, miss those days. Kosher wines too!”

Nice folks - helpful and friendly. Great customer service and competitive pricing. One of my purchases was a Macallan Rare Cask Single Malt for my husband. He can’t wait to check out the plethora of other scotches they have in stock. I’m sure he will enjoy checking out their vast wine selection, as well.”

“Great liquor store. Fantastic selection of wine beer and spirits. Also has a massive collection of great organic wines. My favorite Stellar Organics Shiraz is well stocked. Super friendly staff. Easy parking..”
“I don't understand how people are calling the owner a racist.. I've been going here for years, and this new owner is so personable and nice. I've never had an issue with them. They're very kind people. I have a sick baby and they constantly ask about him and pray for him. So if they're calling them racist.. that's bs. I'm glow in the dark white... my significant other is Puerto Rican.. and they treat us with the up most respect.”

59 Cedar St, Norwalk“I started going here in May of 2020 and have continued for the past almost 4 years.
I'm a 57 year old guy who enjoys decent bourbons and scotches.
This has a small but excellent selection of stuff you don't see in larger stores and the gentleman who runs it is gracious and super friendly.. Hidden gem”
“owners are very friendly, the prices are a couple of bucks more expensive than stews or bevmax... but its not a bad place to go if youre stopping in subway which is next door,or perhaps marshalls. they have a pretty good sized variety of wine. their beer selection isnt very large though. they pretty much just got the basics. but its the best they can do really with such limited space. its way better than every other small liquor store ive ever been in. that includes norwalk and westport. plus they sell cigarettes, lottery tickets, non alcoholic beverages, drink mixes, and occasionally, for tequila drinkers, they will have limes available at the counter. opens at 9 monday-saturday,opens at 10 on sundays.”
“One of the best beverage alcohol retailers in Connecticut, specializing in world-class whiskey picks. Harsha the owner is one of the kindest, hardest working, and most genuine individuals in Connecticut's alcohol industry. This place is a must-visit.”
