This used to be one of the best hidden gems in Norwalk. They used to be accommodating and would be overly helpful with anything you needed. Today.. I brought a package in with the shipping label. I simply asked for a piece tape to attach the label to the package at which point the employee told me I had to buy a whole roll of tape from the store. If you go to any other USPS/UPS, etc. they are more then happy to give you a piece of tape without requiring you to buy a whole roll. Needless to say this store is not what it used to be. I will not be returning… it’s a shame.

Glen's Variety Store, the post office section, is by far the best local post office. The friendliness of personnel is wonderful. It's so nice when you walk into the store they have smiles and ready to help.

You will find two of the nicest people in the world. The store gives a little bit of everything. From gum to mailing a letter. Go and enjoy a cup of coffee and good conversation. Also, tell Glenn and Bridgett their friend in Md says hello. I misz them as they are my friends.

Glen's variety is a great place. They're always friendly and helpful. They have a dedicated long time following by locals who have been coming for years, some dating back to when he worked at a variety store a few stores down! We were all thrilled when he got his own place.
