Fast service and great staff! Dan was exceptional, he went above and beyond to solve my car problems and even helpedme navigate the DMV website. He was a huge help, incredibly patient and just an overall great guy to work with. I know my car is in good hands with Devan Acura!

My stepdaughter has a 2024 Integra (she's had it for 6 months) she bought from Stamford Acura but since we live closer to the Norwalk dealership, we brought her car there for a rim and tire repair, as well as a loud clicking noise. The service writer Donato that took the car in had asked her to text him the video of the clicking noise and that he would "forward it to the technician" I didn't hear anything all day from them so I called at 5pm to see what was going on. They advised me that the rim and tire repair wasn't done because "the service writer left early sick" and his work "never got turned in" I am not sure how that could happen considering they checked the noise out (which they said it didn't make any noise when they test drove it) and all of the info was on the same ticket. So basically the car sat there all day, and nothing got done to it. I asked to speak to the manager and was put onto the phone with Doug, and explained to him how upsetting it was that the car had been there all day and nothing was done, and how I didn't even receive a call with an update and how unprofessional it was that nothing got done due to the service writer not "turning his work in" He wasn't extremely helpful but offered us to leave the car overnight and he would personally take it for a ride the next day to listen for the sound and he would schedule the guys to fix the rim and tire the next day, which they did. It turns out that the noise was from a squirrel getting into the car and stored a bunch of nuts, which wasn't covered under warranty and that we needed to bring the car to Stamford since that's where we got it from, which we did, and that's another long story. Either way, we won't be returning to the Norwalk dealership! Not only are they unprofessional but it's clear that the service manager could really care less about the inconvenience they had caused and actually seemed annoyed that he had to deal with it to begin with. Go to Stamford!

06/07/24 8am requested my oil change which successfully went through everything went good until I was given a complimentary oil change after more than 7 years going 40 minutes after leaving the dealer I received a call from donato service guy that the cashier wasn't satisfied on me getting a complimentary oil change and had to pay $87.58 over the phone. I feel like this is sad that I always come back for service and this one time they couldn't look out for a delicate customer.

On March 26th I had my Acura MDX 2017 towed from Smittys to Acura Devan of Norwalk. Unable to be fixed at Smittys because they were sure it was some electrical and didn’t have Acura software. They checked everything and couldn’t find an issue. Before dropping my vehicle off I explained to Dan that I was on the highway driving and the Electric parking brake symbol, the symbol saying I was hit in the rear, the engine light came on, and a sign telling me to STOP when possible came on. I explained it must be something electrical because I had not been in an accident yet all the safety features were on. The biggest issue as explained to Dan was the electric parking brake being on. He said ok bring it in and we’ll take a look at it. I called once I knew the vehicle had been successfully towed to Acura, asked if they needed anything else from me. Dan replied no and that was the end of conversation. Before hanging up he said he will have it checked out first thing in the morning(27). March 27th came and I still hadn’t heard anything from Dan. I placed a call the afternoon of march 27th to see if they had got around to checking the truck out. At that time Dan explained that it was just brought in to be looked at and I should hear from him shortly. I received a call on 3/27 from Dan roughly around 5pm at which time he told me I needed a new transmission. I was told a new transmission would be a little over $9k and a used one would be almost 7k. I asked him was he sure the issues were being caused by the transmission and he stated yes. I asked are you sure he stated well the vehicle isn’t moving. I said yes but the electric brake is also on and I had no indication I needed a transmission. There was 0 warning signs. He said yeah it’s the transmission. I told him I would have to discuss things with my partner and get back to him because I’ve owned several Acuras and never had this issue. March 28th I called Dan to let him know I would be picking up the truck. He said well I was going to mention lastnight that I would shop around and see if I can get a better price. Hesitant I said ok. He later called back offering me several transmission options ranging from $2500 to a little $6k. He insisting the best offer we got for you is $6200, factory built, brand new, 36k/3 year warranty that’s the best you’re going to get Erica. I asked again over the course of the conversation, was he sure it was the transmission and I also expressed how I felt that was weird I needed a new transmission. I gave him to yes to do the transmission. 4/4 I got a call the transmission was received and will be installed, 4/5 I got the call it was ready, and 4/8 I picked up the truck. The phone call 4/5 was the truck was ready. I wanted to confirm the pricing and asked him to give me the total again. He said it would be $6215.03 plus tax. I then stated you said it would be $6215.03 including tax, installation, and out the door. Dan stated no I never include taxes in price. I stated you did and I stored it in my notes while we were having a conversation. He also continued on to mention some of the safety lights were still on and that would be an additional prices and 4 additional hours. Dan said let me see what DISCOUNT I can get and call you back. He called me back and left a message stating I AM A MAN OF MY WORD ITS GOING TO BE 6215.03 out the door including taxes. I grew very angry in my mind because he felt like he was doing me a favor and giving me a discount but I was really being ripped off. April 8th when I picked up the vehicle with my partner I noticed some of the original safety lights on plus additional ones that weren’t on when it was dropped off and I have a photo to prove it. I stated these lights being on were part of the original issues I was questioning, why would those lights be on. He couldn’t answer the question and told me he would be back he was going to get the technician. Both Dan and the technician tried to convince me and my partner that the car must’ve been hit. We again stated the truck was never in an accident.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! If I could give them a 0 I would. They talked us into buying a pre-owned engine with 63K miles on it for our 2012 MDX. It was making noise after 2 weeks of driving. We brought it back in and they wanted to charge us more for repairs. After a couple more months, we took it to another mechanic and he told us the engine had 123K miles on it, which was a complete shock to us. When I confronted Devan Acura, they told us that they ordered the wrong engine and that they told us they were putting an engine with 123K+ miles on it. To us, this is a COMPLETE LIE!! We would have never had put an engine with 123K+ miles on it in a used car that had 180K miles on it. It's no surprise that we now own a car that needs 10K worth or repairs. Would you trust these people?
UPDATE: We just found out that the engine they sold us had flood damage! It was taken from a totalled car. They didn't mention one word to us on that either! I WOULDN'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH AN OIL CHANGE. THEY SHOULD BE IN JAIL. We will pursue legal restitution including fraud charges.

2 Separate times they have messed an oil change in the last 2 years. I found drops of oil on my garage floor. First time they tried to use the excuse of "it must be old residual oil" and then apologized when they realized I knew that was nonsense.
This time around they admitted that the rubber gasket on the oil filter was folded which caused a break in the seal.
It's not about messing up. it happens, we are all human. It's about the extra 1-2 hours you have to take out of your own time to go get something fixed that they did wrong in the first place. Not acceptable when they charge $110 each time.
Lastly, I waited 3 days after leaving a voicemail to the manager of this location before putting this review in hoping for a call back...Nothing.

As a long time customer of Devan Acura, it is unfortunate that I have to write this review. I have leased a new vehicle ever since 2004 I just would make a call to my salesperson Dan Russo and say "Have it ready" and return my current leases with a minimum14,000 miles and always in mint condition, at every turn in. So recently when picking up my new 2024 Acura MDX I was not informed that the remote start is now done by cellphone and there would be a $750.00 upcharge for key fobs with remote start. This is information that I should should have been told by my salesperson Mr. Russo prior to the lease arrangement. It would have been the right thing to do. I feel blindsided and will no longer be a Devan Acura Customer. Mr. Russo, my sales person, and the GM, and even corporate had no interest at all in my situation and had not one ounce of concern about my loyalty as a long time customer.

My interaction with Jeffrey Pearce was absolutely awful! I had a deal in place with my sales rep who was off, and I was told to work with Jeff. From the moment I stepped in his office, he didn’t greet me and was rude and condescending. In fact so rude, I left the dealership and got a car from Lexus. I can’t believe a Sales Manager would talk to a an approved customer with a deal in place like this.
Is this what Sales leadership look like?
Wow

This review is for a car purchase. I worked with Rick Clark. Normally I don't write reviews but my experience here was so good and different than almost any customer experience I’ve had that I feel I have to give them a shot out. From the moment I walked in Rick Clark greeted me like a gentleman and helped me with the car I was interested in. He was patient, very knowledgeable and super pleasant to deal with and maybe most importantly for me, he was totally transparent with the numbers. He's been there for 20 years and he certainly knows how to treat a customer - the ultimate professional! I am an analytical and skeptical shopper so I wanted to get all the numbers and all the fees, etc., and compute the payments and square the figures against an online auto calculator. Rick was fully transparent without me even having to push him to be so. On his own he provided a detailed spreadsheet with all the figures disclosed, everything!! All without going to his manager even once - he had it all at his fingertips! Simple! Beautiful! Only God knows why other dealerships still do all the silly dance and show of going to the 'manager' for the numbers or only having partial numbers to provide, this includes the other Acura dealerships in the area..Long story short, if you are buying a car, you defintely want to deal with a guy like Rick, he went above and beyond to take care of me, delivered the deal that he offered me and even managed to get the color my wife wanted from another dealership within a few days of my decision to get the car. I give Devan Acura and Rick a 10/10! Excellent!

I purchased a ’19 MDX A-Spec from Westchester of Acura in 2021. Fast forward, 18 months…. The day after Christmas the car lite up like a Christmas tree and stalled in the middle of the road! Took a few tries and finally it started but now gear won’t shift. Called Westchester and was advised I can go to any Acura dealer since the car is still under warranty ( I am from CT). So, I took it into Devon Acura in Norwalk, I don’t know if it was the worst mistake or an eye opener; 3 weeks later and $1600 out of pocket, because Devon of Acura advised me the car had previously been in an accident and had collision repair work done on the car which was not noted to Carfax the manufacturer warranty voids! 2 HUGE legit Acura Dealers on he says, she says… I then went to Westchester Acura and advise them of the issue as Devon of Acura did not repair the car as it stalled again on the highway not even 24 hours after I took it off the lot and was told I should have just had the car tolled to the original Dealer for repair or I can bring it back to them to diagnosis free of charge. The car sat in your lot for 3 weeks!!!! And I paid over $1k for labor and $400 for parts????... I called Acura warranty and was advise this is a idle recall on the car ! A friend who is also a mechanic advise this also sounds like Acura’s KNOWN issue with the electrical component failure.
