I do not normally write reviews for poor experiences, but I am writing this in hopes that another person avoids the same things that happened to me. I have gone to Dr. Gross at least three times, but due to the following experience in tandem with the Doctor’s extremely condescending attitude, I will not be returning. I made a contact lens fitting appointment for a first time user, and my eyes were too dry and sensitive to be wearing contacts. However, I was not told that my eyes were too sensitive but instead urged to keep trying to put the lenses in during our appointment, despite my eyes being extremely red and irritated to the point of extreme discomfort. My appointment was then ended 20 minutes early and I was not given the prescription due to not being able to put in the lenses. Eventually I was able to get the prescription for the contacts; when I did, the prescription for my glasses was written as well despite not having an eye exam for glasses. When I compared this prescription to my glasses prescription (from the same doctor, given several months prior), an incorrect prescription for an exam I had not received was given to me with a new expiration date. When I asked the receptionist about this, she stated that the doctor frequently makes mistakes.

Excellent value if a giant store. Costco treats their employees better than Walmart or other big box stores. This place is clean, well managed, and they guarantee satisfaction. Use the underground parking to minimize hassle.

the eyewear department is poorly run. they use a numbering system and then fail to use the numbers for the customers' turns! i've never seen that done anywhere---why have the number machine and the number board if you are going to ignore it all ? Five people standing in line with numbers and the board wasn't being updated. We all stood there like dopes. Two of the eyewear employees are rude. The two young guys are very nice. The glasses are cheap and it's hit or miss with those. I've gone a few times, this last time was a disaster.

I have been wearing the same style contacts since i was 18 years. My prescription has only changed slightly throughout the years. I went to here for my yearly visit so i can order new lenses and the first year went well.. In and out for $150 and i was a happy camper. My second year i went back and i was not having any issues seeing in either one of my eyes. The doctor told me my left eye needs to be bumped up from a 1.25 to a 1.50... Being I'm the customer I listened to the doctor and ordered a year supply. I was told it may take time for the stronger lens to adjust to my eye. I gave it a shot for a couple months and to be honest it was way too strong in my left eye. I ended trying my right eye which was a 1.00 and i found it was better but a little weak because i really need the 1.25 not the 1.50.. i explained to the doctor my issue and that i have a year supply of the wrong strength for my left eye. I bought the lens from a third supplier and i knew I may or may not get a credit back which i understand. The doctor then tells me i would need to come back in to redo my eye exam for another $150.. i explained i was just there and her response was.. i quote, " We do not work for free." At that point i explained if you are not going to make things right, i will be shopping elsewhere. More or less she hung the phone up on me. Talk about horrible customer service....I was very calm and understanding on the phone and thats how i was treated... I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS EYE DOCTOR. I would rather spend double at a real eye doctors office and receive the proper customer service and prescription needed. I am not one to write 1 star reviews but this needed to be said.

Ordered a pizza to take home - not sliced and lightly baked so I could heat it up that night for dinner. They burned it. Always check before you go!

The staff giving out the samples are lovely- great free samples today, Cheetos, boba tea, kombucha lemonade, Coq10 liquid, turmeric liquid, granola, dressed salad, Gouda cheese. Etc etc. The hot dog was fantastic- first time trying it. The chicken bake was salty AF and barely edible. Excited to try this bulgogi beef that was on sale. Update: The bulgogi beef was overall okay. Unimpressed with the texture and the flavor could have used some more heat/spice, wouldn't buy again but was happy to try it at the sale price.

Lower your expectations on customer service when shopping at this location. Some people working there are not happy and they show it. It's not nice.

I only go here for the pharmacy, and oy... I mean, parking is a *nightmare* and while I have figured out a fairly reliable route through the hordes of people buying God only knows what in massive quantities, it's stressful to go there. But it is the most affordable way to get the multiple medications I need. HOWEVER - my doctor called them all in at once, and somehow, they managed to schedule them so they do not refill on the same date, so I have to go there multiple times a month. They do not auto-refill controlled substances, and if you call them in early (as in even a few days early) they just ignore the call and do not refill it... so I wait until 1-2 days before I am totally out. Difficulty? Apparently, they don't manage their inventory very well - so I have now been two days without an essential anti-anxiety medication and am not doing well because they just sent a text "out of stock - will text you when prescription is ready for pick up." That's... just... great. This, just a few days after I had to pick up a different one, and someone said, "is anyone here NOT waiting for a vaccine?" and I said, "I'm picking up a prescription..." and she walked to the back... and didn't come out. I had to *call the pharmacy from where I was standing* to let them know I'd been waiting 15 minutes to pick up a prescription. I was told, "I thought you said you dropped off a prescription." I said, "did you see me drop off a prescription?" Infuriating... and if I did drop off a prescription, why wasn't it being filled?Nonetheless, I do save hundreds of dollars here, so I guess I have to put up with the inconvenience (including the pharmacy being closed on Sundays, and also not opening until 10am) ... but at the moment I am really not feeling well because I am without my medication. On a weekend, when I couldn't call my doctor to get something called in elsewhere to hold me over.

This Optical is very rWear, i brought a friend for aye axam, everything was fine, we paid $90 for the exam, they dont even ask for membership to do the eye exam (of course they want the $90). The problem was when we want to buy the glases the same day, first think they ask, are you on the membership? And they start to give us a hard time because my friend wasnt on the membership and they didnt sell us the glasses. My point is why they dont tell you all those thing before you spent your $90.

Definitely go to Luis for help getting your prescription filled. He was super helpful and respectful to my 93 year old mother in choosing two pairs of glasses. We both appreciated his attention, friendliness, and efficiency!

I placed an order 9/27 for two pair of glasses. Received a phone call 10/01 to pick-up glasses. Sunday, when I went to Norwalk optical, it was closed. Spoke to a manager who was unable to make an exception and give me the order. Not only do they have the wrong information on their website, now I have to go again on another day. Unprofessional, how come this started a month ago as per the manager (Michael) and no update on the site.
