HORRIBLE! My son's car, a Chevy Cruze, was in constant rapir status at Chris's Auto. Time and again they couldn't get it fixed. Hoses missing, leaks etc. We kept bringing it there as the manager, Alex, seemed like a good guy. The last time, he said it needed a Head Gasket repair and needed to be rebuilt. God forgive me, but I believed them. THEN, at about 6pm October 25, 2022, we picked it up with a "repaired" head gasket... paid a big bill. It took less than 2 hours to blow out completely shoot oil and coolant from the "repaired" gasket and it died. AAA towed it to Maritime Chevrolet Fairfield (the nearest safe place that night) and the next day, with pictures and videos rolling Mr. RALPH CASCELLA, the Service Manager at Maritime Chevrolet of Fairfield CT inspected the car and stated that NO ONE should ever attempt a "repair" of a Chevy Cruze turbo head gasket -- it is NOT acceptable by GM AND THAT ANY repair shop of quality should know that. "The engine is done," he said. Of course, Chris's Auto disputed that, but their track record of incompetent repairs and now a blown engine IMMEDIATELY after "repairing" it, says all you need to know about this place. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN and, in case I'm not clear enough.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone. Choose them at your own risk. Peter FeatherstonNorwalk

I used this business one single time a year ago to do a full break check and replace the front breaks. I just had my car fully serviced by my local mechanic due to breaking and acceleration issues the past couple of weeks. My mechanic told me my car needs up to $1,400 in repairs because the last person that worked on or checked the breaks broke and then glued on a wheel speed sensor back on. Now the sensor is faulty and causing the driving issues because the glue is coming off.It’s not even worth it. so now I need a new car thanks to Alex.Alex: If you make a mistake, be up front with the customer or at least be honest about it before using super glue on the problem. Not trustworthy IMO, I would never go here. I could have absolutely accidentally hurt someone or myself driving this way. Stay away!

We were driving from Massachusetts to NY when we had a car emergency. They fit us in right away, helped us and gave us advice on what to do. Charged us a fraction of the price we could have been charged. We were in and out quickly and able to continue on our trip. Thank you so much! If we lived in this area it would definitely be a shop we would go on a regular basis.

I had Chris replace my drive shaft. Great work great price and he even let me find parts myself and he would put them in. A lot of places make you get the parts through them. Chris is an amazing guy and has an amazing guy that works for him. Would recommend to anyone.

He didn't charged even a single penny for oil leakage in my car. He checked everything and showed me how it works. Finally he told "No issues in your car. You are good to go". Excellent Service. Transparent work. Very friendly.
