I take my kitties here and each and every doctor is wonderful. They give amazing client education, takes the time to answer all of my questions . I am at ease when my pets are with them . Thank you for everything.

My dog is a handful, with her health and her behavior.I am posting because I think this practice does the very best it can given resources and demand. My Love is certainly not their simplest patient (purebred spaniel, stinky ears, beautiful smile)But they’ve always made time for us when I need it most and guided us through the worst of it, which is no easy feat. Thank you ❤️

Great place!I brought my cat Sasha here and my experience was great! Reception was incredibly friendly, the veterinary assistants went through everything with me before the doctor checked her out. Things went SO well that I signed her up on a plan along with my two dogs! Banfield Norwalk is amazing I highly recommend them!

My name is Jose Ramirez, and I am writing to inform you of my decision to cancel my account with Banfield.Regrettably, we have encountered several challenges with the services provided by your Norwalk Banfield location, specifically related to our pet's health concerns. Despite multiple attempts to seek assistance for our sick dog, we have faced difficulties in securing timely appointments. This has been particularly distressing, considering the additional payment made for urgent care during a prior visit.Furthermore, the recent experience of attempting to schedule an appointment for our ailing pet has been disheartening. The reluctance of Banfield to prioritize a sick animal's needs has left us dissatisfied with the level of service provided.I appreciate the assistance provided by Mr. Ritch, who demonstrated exceptional professionalism and courtesy during our interactions. However, our overall experience, compounded by unhelpful and discourteous responses from other staff members, has led us to the decision to terminate our association with Banfield.In light of our dog's current health condition, which involves persistent vomiting since yesterday, we believe it is in the best interest of our pet to seek alternative veterinary care promptly.I kindly request your prompt attention to process the cancellation of our account. Justin “Manager”Completely disrespectful on the phone. He was condescending and rude.After trying to speak with him he continued to speak over me….I had to question him - if he is the manager how does he expect his staff to speak to customers.As I do like Banfield his unprofessional position has completely changed my opinion of this location.As customers we should be treated as valued. Nothing less.Extremely disappointed, we made an appointment with Rippowam in Stamford.

Today was my dogs first appointment- I called the hospital for 20 minutes straight to let them know I was running late due to car issues no one answered after dialing for 20 minutes I left a message letting them know about the issue and that I’ll be there in 3 minutes. I walk in receptionist gives me a face and say your appointment was at 11:30 I said I know when my appointment was I been calling no one ever answers - she say oh well is only me I asked to talk to the manager I’m put in a room I wait 10 minutes for Justin - he comes in instead of asking what happened like any other manager does he immediately says looks like we need to reschedule, I said to him are you even aware of what happened and he said the receptionist told so a so called manager has zero interest in listening to the client only goes by what the employee has to say zero customer service!!I had been a Banfield customer for many years and visited many locations this one is the worse Banfield location I had ever visited no wonder it has 3.2 stars ⭐️ I told him I was leaving a review and he simply said go ahead.This place needs to hire more front desk people you cannot run a business with one person or if you are a good proactive manager you should be sitting in the front asnwering phones right along side with your receptionist.

Banfield is ok for healthy check appts, shots, meds, and dental cleanings, but it's difficult to get an appt at times. Called for a few days before I was able to speak with someone. The staff is very friendly, but I have seen a vet a couple of times, and I bring my pet at least twice a year. He has been going for at least 5 years. If you have an emergency, they suggest you call an urgent care for dogs because they do not have the equipment they would need to help your pet. The biggest plus is the cost. I pay a monthly fee, and it covers the cost of all visits and shots and dental care.

I was hesitant to bring my new puppy to this location after reading the reviews but I am so glad I did. Danielle,I believe her name was, was incredibly helpful with checking me in, finalizing my wellness plan,and checking me out. The other receptionist was very kind to both myself and my puppy butters.The practice manager Justin came in to introduce himself. He explained the importance of heartworm prevention and I walked out of the appointment much more knowledgeable in the health and well being of my puppy.I hope my little guy never gets sick,but I'm confident that this hospital will have my puppies best interezt in mind.If you're questioning coming to this hospital, don't be. Most vet hospitals couldn't accomodate me and my puppy but banfield norwalk was able to within the week I called. Highly satisfied .

Confidence in medical expertise, current medical knowledge and extensive experience from the veterinarians, technicians and receptionists. Very professional, well trained and friendly support staff. You are advised on pros and cons of the preventative care options appropriate for the age of your pet. My family and I have been coming with our pets for over 12 years and have received exceptional guidance and support through care of all life stages including our geriatric pets and end of life decisions. Nothing but great vibes. Additionally our current 1 year old pup Scotty loves coming here and is always received with much love and attention from all. His technician Melissa is exceptional at delivering health advice and lots of TLC, something not easy to find everywhere. She always makes our experience great and keeps us coming back. Highly recommend this place. Sad to see such entitled and negative comments, but coming from the veterinary field myself I will say it is not an easy job. Please be kind and courteous to your health care providers as they only ever want the best. People have lives outside of work too, lives which we do not know of. Appreciation goes a very long way believe me!!

Absolutely disgusted. My puppy is 16 weeks old, he’s been vomiting and having diarrhea. I did what any worried mother does and I called to get an appointment with the vet. I was told it would be a THREE WEEK until my dog can be seen. THREE WEEKS! And this would be the second visit for the same issue! Now he’s bleeding when he goes to the bathroom, and I can’t get in for three weeks!!!! I mean where is the concern! She didn’t even ask me anything about him or say she would talk to a doctor for me or leave a message for them to call me back! I asked to speak to a manager and was told he wasn’t in so I asked when he would be in. They said “I don’t know”. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to they said the manager wasn’t in and that’s the only other person I could speak to. I wish I knew this girls name. I use to love the old manager Shawna (forgive me if I spelled it wrong). She was so helpful and attentive. She even gave me her personal number. Just the overall care and quality of this place has just tanked, which is a shame as I’ve been a client for years with my other pets. No wonder there is new staff every time you walk in the door. This dump needs to be shut down. Absolutely terrible.

This place is full of liars. We are late for 15 min and the receiption Adriana was rude and ask us to reschedule after my son drive 45 min to there. Say we didn’t call which I did but the phone always go to voicemail. I ask to talk to the manager and she hung up on me. I call them again which of course go to voicemail again and I left a message for the manager. The manager call back 5 hours later and explained my son was late for “an hour” so needs to reschedule. Another liar. I told him I have phone record that I talk to this Adriana 20 min after schedule through my son’s phone with her. How come there’s an hour late? Then he said he much have misunderstood this Adriana’s word. I think Benfield has too much clients so they try to reduce some by lies and push away clients like this. This Justin must have a great relationship with this Adrian so he is willing to lied for her. Good luck to all pets go there. Hope the vets there are not liars.

Honestly, never bring your per there. They’re the worst and they don’t care about the pet’s health. We were 5 minutes late and we tried to call to let them know we’re running late but it goes to voicemails. we were told we have to reschedule after driving 45 minutes to get there. Adrianna was very rude and unwelcoming and had bad attitude the whole time. Never again dealing with this place.

If you love your pets please don’t bring them there. I made a huge mistake by getting their insurance for both my cats. It’s always a bad experience from making the appointment to getting my cats treated. I’m finally done with the one year contract and so glad I can bring my pets to a better place. Banfield Hospital in Norwalk SUCKS!
