If you rent cars at all you know how laborious & painfully slow it can be to pickup your rental—not at the Norwalk office—lightening fast & courteous—clean vehicle with gas topped off. Everything about the experience was positive. I’ll rent here the next time I need a rental car.

This was a first class experience from start to finish. I was in the middle of a transportation emergency and Gobi was extraordinarily helpful through my two week rental period. He deserves special recognition for going the extra mile.

Last week I made two individual reservations at two different local budget/avis locations. Both were cancelled last minute due to “extensions”.I understand having to cancel a reservation once but twice? The advice from the 800 was to simply go to the store and “beg for a car”.I did exactly that since I had a hotel reservation that could not be cancelled and instead of a nice “working vehicle” one would come to expect…I was only able to rent a car that had no radio, no back-up camera and no navigation but I was charged $450 for two days rental?

Car (2021 Toyota Camry) was low milage, well maintained, and had all the features someone on a road trip would need (Bluetooth, large navigation screen, adaptive cruise control and lane assist). Car was comfortable and we had no maintenance issues while driving cross country and back. Pick-up and drop off were a breeze. Probably my best rental car experience ever. Would definitely use Avis again.

I rented a new Mazda CX 5 for 6 months from this facility. Customer service at check outmonthly renewals and at return was excellent. During the rental period, the manager guided me if I was getting a better deal booking through Costco or Avis. He also gave me free upgrade when he did not have my desired car on the lot, thus saving me a lot if money. AVIS central automated reservation service is state of the art."start"veimpwith no wait time

This is the worst place to rent a car. The car was disgusting when we picked it up. There was food wrappers, crumbs, used tissues, sticky substances all over the car. Avis Customer Service was useless. I will never use Avis again.

This place is very unprofessional and does not take cleanliness seriously during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. All standard size vehicles on the lot were extremely dirty; smelled of cigarettes, hair and other crumbs/dust all over, stained seats, and sticky gear shift/ steering wheel.The representative did not take my claims maturely and initiated argument with me on how I am the only one complaining about these issues. The representative, not wearing his face mask properly, should know that during these unprecedented times “fine” or tolerable is not enough. A car rental should look new or close to it. He cancelled my rental with pleasure. Please be aware and make sure whoever is conducting your transaction is taking YOUR HEALTH seriously.

This location is not up to typical Avis standards, as others have noted: (1) It's small, so you may not get the car you reserved. (2) There's only one worker. If he's out, you could wait an hour. (3) They sometimes don't have time to fill the tank, and you're expected to return it as it was rented - impractical if it's nearly empty. (4) You must sign a form agreeing that there's no damage, but the garage is very dark, so damage isn't apparent.

Needed a car quickly, found here for $400 for 48 hours which is fine. Then the car I got was dirty, I needed to do the inspection in a dark garage where I barely could see anything. When drove outside I saw black smears on the roof carpet. Went back to complain that I don’t want to pay a fortune at the end for excessive mess - of course I was promised that I won’t. Writing this review just to register the time that the car was already a mess right after I got it. Other than that, I would expect cleaned cars from a rental company, especially for this price. I’ve rented a tons of cars in my life, never needed to sit on others’ crumbs so far..

I rented a 7 seat SUV for 4 days. The price was excellent and threw process was fairly quick. The staff was friendly and informative. My rental was waiting for me and the car was one of the newest models with all the newest tech.
