Our family loves AAA automobile club. They are always available and they can and do help with many travel related items. The tow service pays for itself and everything else is icing on the cake.

Went in for an International Driver's Permit. They can do photos here and got me out the door in less than 20 minutes on a lunch break.

The staff is friendly and efficient. Despite it servicing all of lower CT, doesn't seem too busy.It is important to note that my credit cards were stolen here, admittedly due to my carelessness. Still, it's important you keep your wits about you and don't be fooled by this or Any other welcoming location...criminals are everywhere.

I went to the office today and found out I wouldn't be able to get an international license until I renew my State license because my regular license is about to expire. The way Annie (I think that was her name, she's the manager) handled the situation was actually first class. She was sympathetic and informative and she genuinely seem to care. She handled herself professionally and did a great job.

You cannot reach anyone on the phone. I've tried three different phone numbers. Tried to order a map online, as well, and the website doesn't work.

Travel agencies seem to be going out of style but booking an interesting trip on my own was very much overwhelming. I looked at a variety of travel agents but decided to give AAA a try because I have a membership.The agent was friendly and a good listener. I gave her the "essence" of what I was looking for in a vacation. She asked me some excellent questions and then validated the type of vacation I was looking for before giving me a few options with brochures in hand. I very quickly chose a Riverboat Cruise down the Mississippi from Memphis, TN to NOLA with a few extra nights at each end.It was overall an excellent experience both vacation and with AAA and the travel agent.Maybe I was lucky with the travel agent but I use AAA quite a bit from license renewal to car battery jump to passport photos and it has always been a positive and professional experience so I don't think it is luck. It seems like they hire, train and maintain good, experienced, smart and friendly people.The travel agent side of the business was really nice for me in today's do-it-yourself travel industry whixh I found to be overwhelming and anxiety invoking with so many choices and different prices all over the place for the same thing. They put it all together for me and made sense of the hodge podge of choices. I left feeling like I got the best prices and discounts on exactly what I was looking for with zero stress!

We needed an IDP. Went to Westport AAA office and they said all branches were out, Danbury might have some. I called Norwalk, they confirmed that all local branches were out. She offered to call me if they get any on an off chance and took my number. I was like sure she will but she did 3 days later. The 3 ladies were so nice and accommodating. A+
