1 . when I arrived, I told them that I needed to replace both axels and everything connected with them - the entire chassis system (although only one axel was bad, but I asked to replace everything since this is a working trailer and I need a working trailer because my business may suffer again if something happens to the trailer) and came to pick up the trailer, they replaced only one axel kit! all because when I gave the trailer to the front desk, the employee did not write down what I told him needed to be replaced, and I had to leave without the trailer since I had deadlines for leaving for work. but this is not the main problem yet.I had my trailer serviced by them in February this year, my trailer drove no more than 10k miles after the service, now the brakes on the trailer are no longer work! I disassembled the drum and found that the magnet was completely destroyed because the LUGS were not inserted into the flat and broke the entire magnet for the brakes, all because they installed a defective spare part and now I have to contact the shop again, since I have no brakes in the trailer (old brakes I have driven more than 60k miles - 3 years, but here in less than 10k miles everything needs to be changed). I don't recommend this service

I hope this experience will help anyone considering buying an expensive piece of equipment from Trailer Depot (TD).TD is 10 minutes from my house, but this year I drove an hour to another facility for my preseason service. I will not go back to TD for service nor will I purchase anything from them again . It seems they should sell only trailers, because they don't seem to prioritize snow plows at all, or at least not personal snow plows. Maybe commercial plow customers are treated better.I purchased a small personal snow plow from them in 2017 after noticing snow plows out front as I drove to and from work. I first dealt with Matt, then I ended up dealing with Shane who was very good in answering all my questions and I confirmed that I could have the plow serviced there annually before the start of each winter. I went for servicing 5 years total with the last 3 years showing a noticeable shift in atmosphere, responsiveness, and customer service.2018,19, and 20 were fairly uneventful. In 2021 the plow seemed to be there an inordinately long amount of time for a preseason service. I also had difficulty getting a response to phone or email messages which had never been a problem in the past. I assumed this experience was just an aberration and returned the following year, which was 2022. I dropped the plow off with Howard who would onIy say " soonish " when I asked when it would be done.I noted that I dropped off in September so that I could get it back well in advance of any cold weather. I also noted that the power cables were very hard to disconnect even though I kept them greased and I wondered if they needed replacing. He said they'd evaluate them and let me know. As with 2021, no one responded to my messages. As I went to and from work I could see the plow sitting in the same spot where I dropped it off. I tried contacting TD by phone and email but never heard back after leaving multiple messages and weeks went by. I went into work before they opened and returned after they were closed. I found either a different email or a text contact and I got-- not a reply to any of my messages-- but a random message simply saying the plow was done.THE PLOW HAD BEEN THERE FOR SIX WEEKS. When I picked it up the plow, as I walked in the service entrance I could see Shane exit from the back, leaving me with with Howard. Howard sensed I was very upset with the entire experience and I told him that it was obvious this was not at all a priority. The plow had been there for 1.5 months and there was a noticeable deterioration in responsiveness and attitude. It was almost as though I was an annoyance. He told me not to feel this way, that they're very busy and they have lots of daily phone calls to deal with. I noted that that's how they make their money, by answering customers questions so that they can gather information and feel comfortable about such large $ purchases. The bill for the plow service was over $700. I looked at him and I said "what"?! I noted that a annual service was about $250 and asked if they changed the power connectors. He said didn't anyone call and tell you that and give you the bill total ? I said no one's responded to me in a month and a half. The reason I bought the plow here was so that I can service it here. If you don't want to service it , just tell me that directly . I couldn't wait to leave . I paid the $700+ and vowed never to return. I sent an email to Shane the next day, not expecting a reply, asking why the bill was $700.He explained that it's an entire wiring harness not just new connector "ends". I told him about the whole experience and how it seemed people were acting as though I wanted a favor rather than a service I was paying for on a plow bought there. In the end he apologized but it was too little too late. I now travel an hour to another facility--it's inconvenient but I'd rather give them my $. Anyone with any shred of self-respect deserves better than to be placed at the end of a service queue with the f

Shane & Howard came through for me, 100%.I have a 2015 Freightliner Sprinter I couldn't even get a hitch for from Freightliner or Mercedes (they made one at one point, but stopped producing it and none were available anywhere). These guys did for me, what nobody else could, not even the manufacturer. I'd give them more than 5 stars, if I could.

Nice shop, great staff! I needed to register my trailer which was supposed to be registered during an out-of-state sale. After some 60+ days later and still without a plate, I called Trailer Depot and they were able to get through the complications and send me on my way with a CT Plate in under an hour!

Had several trailer hitches put on my vehicles here. Work was done promptly and prices were fair. The shop also has some decent Rv parts. I found a replacement cover for my popup trailers roof vent there that was a life saver. I would recommend them no reserve.

I visited The Trailer Depot to buy some leaf springs for my trailer. I accidentally gave them the wrong size fit my first leaf spring and they let me return them without issue and ordered me a new set. Because I'm not trailer part savvy I gave them the wrong type and they let me replace that set as well without issue. The two gentlemen I was assisted by were both courteous, patient, and knowledgeable.Prices seem fair when compared to various online prices.

A family owned and operated business with superior customer service and a massive selection of products on hand. Service department and sales were both excellent to work with. Service after the sale was was even better than the during the sale. They've earned a lifelong customer here. The prices are fair and reasonable for service and for purchasing. Hard to beat.

The Trailer Depot is a class act from start to finish! The trailer that we needed was in stock. Less than one hour later Gary was driving away with it. They took care of the registration and gave it a full inspection. Cody D. was very knowledgeable and professional! The way that The Trailer Depot operates is the model all businesses should follow.

I purchased plow and sander last year and was very happy for the most part, I return this year and for the same plow sander I was looking at extra 5k to 6k. I had to go another way with this year's plow and sander. Other then that trailer depot is a reputable company to deal with . Hopefully next year I can work with trailer depot. Thank you
