“I love this place. The owners are wonderful to their customers and it makes you want to return. There are many selections for pretty much whatever type of drink you're looking for. The one thing I will say is that I wish they kept a slightly wider array of beer cold. It would be nice to run into the cooler and be able to grab a cold case of PBR or something. They always have some local craft beer options, most importantly, Workhorse is always in stock.”

The selection is fantastic and they've got a great variety of your usual favorites along with more unique finds, so there's always something for everyone. The owner will even place orders when I'm looking for something specific that might not be in stock. He has tons of knowledge for the times when I want to get someone a nice gift but I don't know anything about specialty bourbons or tequilas. This is a great place to go if you want a stellar selection in the welcoming environment of a small-town shop.”

“What an amazing business!! Seriously the best customer service you could imagine. I am from the west coast & wanted to buy some wine as a birthday gift for my cousin in Cheshire. Not knowing who to call, I googled some places & luckily landed on Premier Wine & Spirits. After 2 minutes on the phone with Donna, I knew I made a great choice! She was so incredibly helpful in helping to pick the right wines. Also, not only did she personally write a card for me (that I dictated), and cello wrap them up beautifully, but she hand delivered them. My cousin LOVED it! “This is a quality place to buy beer and wine. They have good special offers such as (for example), Bogle wines at $9.99 and case prices for six packs of Sea Hag IPAs. Staff were around to answer questions and find stuff. I bought more than I planned. Will revisit next time I come down from MA.”

“To the best of my memory on liquor prices the price is the gables wine shop are extremely inexpensive it may be just be the state of Connecticut doesn't have the taxes on liquor the other states do but I appreciate liquor taxes River Federal thing so I don't know if their markup can be very much because a 750 ml bottle of Crown Royal Apple normally cost in the neighborhood of 40 to 45 dollars after tax Gables has a price on a Shelf at 2999 add to get out the door cost about $32 that's like at least eight to 15 dollars cheaper than I'm used to paying”

Their selection is more than enough for hard liquor and the wine room is very nicely stocked with a good variety of whites and reds form around the world. And for a store that is tucked away in an area like Indian Neck their prices are more than fair.”
