“I like this place for getting a healthy lunch when I'm out on the road. They have a salad bar and some times I just get some carrot sticks and hard boiled eggs for lunch. Sometimes I get a kombucha. I'm trying to re-engineer my gut micro biome. I used to get a dollar chicken sandwich and Diet Coke from Wendy's. This is much better for me. They also have some hot prepared food. Last time I got some cooked vegetables in a balsamic sauce and a bit of chicken with curry flavor and red peppers. It's very healthy, lots of vegetables and not very expensive at all. I also like that it's quiet and not crowded like Whole Foods. It's a quick in-and-out and the guys at the register are pleasant.”
“Oh my gosh. Where do I start !? Cute store, immediately welcomed with open arms , almost felt like I was visiting family. My and my partner came for Kimbap and immediately they were on the counter, wrapped in tinfoil with a heart sticker. Really really delicious ! They had a big selection of items in closing chips, soups, drinks, and other fresh foods. The woman working was so nice when I was walking around and asked me I was and she was so sweet! There’s a beautiful dog that is so calm almost looked like a big plushie ! Friendly workers, calm and welcoming environment, definitely going back each chance I get ! ❤️??”

“If you’re looking for all things cheese and charcuterie, this is the store to go to in CT! They had a fantastic variety of charcuterie accompaniments, meats, cheeses, and even dessert! You’ll find international products, as well as locally-sourced ones, like Luce’s tomato sauce. We had one of their small charcuterie boxes and it was great! So happy to know about this store so we can shop local more often!”

“I love this store! Me and my son are always greeted with smiles and helpful hands! There’s a small coffee/hot chocolate/tea station where you can prepare coffee for self and get hot cocoa. I brought bread at this location which expired 3 days after I brought it and the manager had no issues with allowing me to get something else! THE SANDWICHES are AMAZINGLY fresh! And if you happen to shop around while your sandwich is being made the person at the deli will find you or have it ready at the cashier which is helpful when you’re a mama bear grabbing things and trying not to forget thing”

“I stopped in here towards the end of the day to grab a late lunch. Even though it seemed like an off time, this place was still quite busy. Staff was friendly, and my Italian combination grinder was fresh and delicious. It was loaded with good stuff…They have a lot of prepared foods for purchase as well, if that is useful for you…It looks like a great place to go to purchase meat products.You have to enter from the front of the deli, and exit on the side. You can’t really enter from the side, hopefully that helps.”

“North Haven Big Y is my favorite grocery store. Plenty of real people working at the cash registers. And baggers! And workers that will help you to your car with your groceries. Store is pretty well stocked. Butchers are friendly and offer great suggestions of meats to cook and I even got my knives sharpen here. Thanks to all the wonderful workers at this Big Y!”
“"Leave your cares behind come with us and find The pleasures of a journey to the center of the mind" (Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes) We confess that we love Italian delis and grocery stores. And we both agreed that the Whitneyville Food Center is as good an Italian deli and grocery store as we have ever visited. When you walk in, you're greeted by long aisles of fruits and vegetables, baked goods, grab and go showcases, prepared salads, deli meats and cheeses, steaks and pork and chicken and sausages, canned goods, pastas, breads and rolls, and lots of grocery items. We picked up 3/4 pound of ground veal ($7.69) for a Thanksgiving Bolognese, a huge 3.5 oz. coconut almond chocolate chip soft biscotti ($3.25), and two deli sandwiches. The sandwiches were on a hard roll and were priced at just $8 each for a pretty good sized sandwich. My Italian Combo had plenty of ham, pepperoni, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a super sift fresh hard roll. I had half for lunch today and the other half went into the fridge for tomorrow. The customer service was fantastic. The gent in the butcher department was very personable and funny, and the guy who made our sandwiches was friendly and professional. Put everything together, and this was an easy Five Star experience.”
