Went in today to get a check engine light formally diagnosed and the owner said he was on the phone to give him a minute. I said no problem at all and proceeded to turn around to watch what they had on the tv on the wall until his wife began to ask me what was wrong with my vehicle. I started to explain the code and symptoms and she immediately told me to wait for him (because a pen and paper are to difficult for her to operate apparently) his conversation began getting more intense until he yelled at me to get out that he was having a personal conversation and he would come get me when he’s done. I let him know he wouldn’t be working on my vehicle followed with some expletives to share my distaste for his attitude and lack of professionalism. I’m not the type of person to normally leave a bad review but this was the worst I’ve ever been talked to as a customer who came in with a genuine need and absolute patience to him and to be talked to like that is unacceptable. We all work much to hard these days for our money to spend it at a shop with an inconsiderate jerk who speaks to his customers in this manner and there are too many good, honest, respectable shops in town who are happy to have the business.

I phoned several weeks ago and spoke with Lou! I explained an intermittent noise and clunking sound from my front end on my 2009 Ford Fusion! He explained how busy he was and additionally it would be much better for him to diagnose when the next time it happens to drive it in to his place, so he can hear and see the problem! Today 6/1/2023 my wife, while picking up our grandchildren from school heard a loud clunking noise coming from the front drivers side! I said Lou at Yaccarino’s said to drive it there so he could hear it live! When she got there, she was treated like the biggest nuisance on the planet by Lou! He denied ever talking to me on the phone Etc. etc. Now Lou maybe you did forget our phone conversation, but to be a Nasty Old Curmudgeon to a would be customer means one thing to a guy like me! It’s time to sell or close the shop Pal! You are a Miserable Man! Shame on You! I spoke with you on Friday May 19,2023 @ 2:30 PM!

Many thanks to Lou for the work on my Fusion. He went the extra mile and picked up my car that had no brakes to save me a tow.. The breaks were done as promised and are working great.

My car overheated so I pulled off the highway, over 50 miles from my destination. I was referred to this shop by the business I pulled into. However, when I called to ask them if they could take a look and see if a patch or some temporary solution would be possible so I would no longer be stranded, he said he was “Too Busy†to help me and he “Doesn't stock parts for my car, no one around here does.†Apparently helping someone stranded and alone is not something he was willing to do, even after I had asked how long a wait would be.
