“Very easy to navigate. They have trains and a bus line. Two dunkin donuts and a sbarro and a subway (sandwich not train) what more do you need. Easy hour via CT rails to get to Hartford”

“Excellent company, I work with them on a regular basis, All the drivers are professional and I am happy to give them a helping hand when they need due to this. I've gotten to know most of them on a first name basis as they are constantly here picking up from us. The dispatcher/office manager is also a great person to talk to and will gladly work with you if any problems arise. Can't say I have ever dealt with a better trucking company. Also they take care of there equipment and trucks. While a dirty truck is a happy truck because it means its making money in my experience, these guys are sure to get them cleaned right up as soon as possible when they get dirty, keeping a good appearance for there company and the trucking industry in general!”

“Delivered here not too long ago. Nice guy who worked there, hard worker, was unloaded quickly. I was out of hours to drive to nearest safe haven and they were polite enough to allow me to park. Weren't too busy so not sure if they allow it when busy. Either way very quiet and the business very professional and courteous to truck drivers.”

“I saw some of the reviews about the lack of cameras and scratched up cars so i was a bit worried about leaving my car here, but it turned out ok in the end. I'm hoping it's not something that happens often. The thing I like about this garage is that you can leave your car here overnight. I went to New York City for 3 days and 2 nights and left my car in the garage the entire time, and picked it up when I returned. You take a ticket when you enter the garage, and pay when you leave the garage. Overall I paid around $52. Make sure you don't lose your ticket! Also, something interesting that happened was that they were filming Ray Donovan at the station when I came back from New York, so they had signs all over the place directing staff on where to go. I'd leave my car here again if I ever took another trip. The garage was clean and well maintained, and they had plenty of open spots when I got there on a Monday morning (around 9:30am).”

“I've been renting cars a few times a month to get groceries and stuff for my apartment and there's nothing negative I can say about the experience so far. For errands, the hourly rates end up making much more sense than going by the day elsewhere and there's no surprise $20 (or so) charge on the bill that I've seen in at least a few places. The only caveat is that their cars do rent quickly at some locations. I'm not the type to book as early as I probably should, and if you know you want a car at a set time a day in advance, it might be a good idea to reserve it instead of hoping it'll be there an hour before you're trying to get somewhere.”

“My mom has to be transported in a wheelchair can/van. We use metro taxi for this. They seem to be the only ones around except My Ride that has a wheelchair vehicle, which isn't good. A little competition is healthy! Usually they are prompt and show up on time for drop off and pick up, but not always. A few weeks ago on a Friday night they never showed to pick her up; no phone call, nothing. I finally called them and was told 'there's no cab in her area'. Well, doesn't making a reservation put a cab in her area at a specified time? Not according to them. Making a reservation means nothing. (All I could think of was that Seinfeld episode!) It would be great if I had more than one company to rely on, cuz this company is not reliable.”

“Decided to use Zipcar since most car rentals for Labor day were sold out. Signed up and the Zipcard was sent to me within a week-- off to a good start. After reading the reviews, I was getting super anxious that everything possible was going to go wrong. First thing, is that the actual price of the car is not as advertised on the website. I paid about ~$128 for a honda civic instead of the starting price advertised around ~$89. The day of the car pickup. The car is nowhere to be found. This was frustrating, but the zipcar customer reps on the phone directed us to a new car in a new parking garage. We got an upgraded car for the same price, which was nice. The zipcar rep assured us that they would refund us for the cab ride it took to get to the new car. (haven't had a refund yet, but I take their word.) While we had a rough start (was prepared for this given the reviews online), the trip was smooth. No problems with the car, it was clean, large, and had everything we needed (bluetooth, EZpass, etc). I had no issues charging the gascard for gas either. On returning the car, make sure you CALL the zipcar reps to make sure they got your punch in so you don't have any late fees. Overall, no hidden fees were charged at the end and they were transparent with all the toll fees. Make sure to take photos of any dents/damages to the car before your ride so they do not falsely accuse you of damages. My experience is that if you cross all your T's and dot all your I's Zipcar is a great experience as long as you are aware of the mishaps that can occur. I would use again.”
