I have been a member of Resilient Training Lab for about 1 year. I like the option of having coaching staff guide & educate me during my training. They are awesome people who have inspired me to give 100 of myself to achieve my goals of better health & strength.

RTL is truly an amazing place to be. I have a herniated disc, and training with Mike has been a huge boost to my strength, confidence, and pain management. The programming I receive is extremely well-adapted to my needs, and the facilites are perfect for each and every workout. After 4 months of training, I've already felt huge progress on my strengh and overall health. Five stars all the way!

Simply the best**addition: If you are in Connecticut and around this area, I highly recommend RTL! I am a travel nurse and I found it difficult to have consistency whenever I move from one place to another. RTL made it possible for me to find consistency due to being 24/7, not to mention the coaches that are always encouraging even if I only see them briefly since I usually go in around 4am. All the equipments you’d ever need are in there and plenty of stations to use!

Paul and his team are amazing. They pay attention to what my needs are. I have a pre-existing shoulder injury and they tailored a program just for me. Can’t say enough about how good this place is.

Joining RTL 3 months ago was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Coaches are top notch, knowledgeable and always available to offer guidance or answer any questions. I never feel rushed. My program is tailored to me.The facility is just amazing.. so clean and with so much equipment you never have to wait. Everyone is welcomed from beginners to advanced athletes.. all treated equally. I highly recommend it!!!

RTL is a power rack paradise, a barbell sanctuary, and—most importantly—a very special community of incredibly intelligent, supportive coaches and kind, non-judgmental members. I trialed five other gyms in the area before committing to RTL, and ya’ll… RTL is it.The owner and head strength coach, Paul, is the coach of coaches. I was lucky enough to have him as my coach this summer as I prepared for my very first powerlifting competition. He is extremely well-read on all things movement, attentive without being overbearing, and has the most iconic laugh, which really brightens the entire gym when it carves through the atmosphere. “Is that really a sound the human body can make?” The answer is yes. I think his most admirable trait as a coach is that he practices what he preaches. Just look at his instagram for 1/4 of a second and you’ll see what I mean. Dude is the epitome of hard work and determination.Clare is another phenomenal coach. She is smart, STRONG, supportive, and motivating. She gave me a ton of great feedback on my lifts and really knows how to cheer and get excited for her clients. She knows exactly what to say when you are grinding through a lift, or after you fail one. She feels the highs and lows of your powerlifting journey with you—unmatched empathy. 5/5 person and coach.I haven’t spent as much time working with Ryan and Mike, but what I have picked up about them is that Ryan almost knows too much about powerlifting and is therefore incredibly insightful, and Mike is the PT/coach of every athlete-with-low-back-pain's dreams.But it doesn’t stop with their coaches! The front desk staff, Casey and Steph, are both one-of-a-kind gems. Casey’s energy is infectious. She is a colorful person inside and out. Steph is so down to earth and easy to talk to, and the first friend I made at the gym, which says a lot coming from someone who can take a ~while~ to warm up to people.So, this is less of a 5 star review and more of a love letter to everyone at RTL. Thank you for coming together, doing what you do, and being the “happy place” for myself and so many other lifters.Tl;dr Resilient Training Lab is an immaculate facility filled with the finest equipment and finest people.

I love training at Resilient. All of the coaches are great. They are always willing to help and push you. Tons of equipment, and everyone is so friendly. I actually look forward to going to the gym now. I highly recommend it.

This is hands down one the best and least intimidating gym I've ever been to. The staff is very knowledgeable and supportive and always answers even the rookiest questions. Everyone working out at the gym is friendly and at different phases in their fitness journey. Whether you're lifting big or just trying to get moving, I cannot recommend this place enough!

RTL is a wonderful place! The community of coaches and athletes are very warm, welcoming, and supportive. The coaches are very knowledgeable, and I have learned A TON on how to become more proficient in approach and execution of the various lifts prescribed. The coaches are awesome with communication (checking in with you) and are very attuned and flexible with one's (life) schedule and work well with you on how to maximize your potential. The space and equipment are top-notch, however, it really is the people that make the difference in helping one reach their goals. RTL is the best!

This gym is amazing, been going for about 4 months at this point. All the coaches are amazing, you can ask them anything and they are more than happy to answer. The place is well kept, bathrooms are clean. Equipment is well kept, and they have everything you need and more. If you don't know how to use something, they will show you. The members are great too, all around it feels like a community that wants to see you succeed. I was recommended by reddit to check this place out, 100% glad I did.

I have been working directly with coach Ryan for a little over 3 months now. I've enjoyed my prescribed training so much that I've been consistent have not missed a single day. Ryan is approachable and makes an effort to reach out to me to see how my training is going during the week - if there is something that needs to be adjusted he's quick on it. I train primarily from my home gym, or from my friend's home gym, while we both have the necessary equipment, we don't have the complete arsenal that commercial / specialized gym offers. Even without the luxury of training in a specialized facility Ryan has programmed training for me that works with the equipment I have available, and i'm still able to reach my goals/ see progress.Prior to working with Ryan, I was training with a close friend who is coached by Paul (owner/founder of RTL). For almost two years I was following the program prescribed to my friend and always loved the training and saw serious progress - legitimately got the strongest i've ever been and had my best performances at my 2 most recent powerlifting meets in Nov 2021 and March 2022. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant - so my training has changed somewhat over the last few months but I appreciate the evidence/science based approach that the RTL coaches bring to the table. I highly recommend Ryan, and all of the coaches at RTL.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is in great shape and they are constantly adding new and unique equipment. I always enjoy my time there and think this is a great gym for everyone from new to experienced lifters.

I love Resilient Training Lab! It’s always super clean, well organized, top notch equipment, and the coaches and staff are amazing!! They are always there to answer questions, lend a hand, or spot you!! Such a positive and awesome environment! I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a high quality place to train!

Been a member now for a few months and the experience from the initial meet and greet up till being a member has been amazing.. the atmosphere is so welcoming, it’s judgement free, other members are so nice and helpful, staff and coaching do An amazing job. They are there for any reason and are very helpful in every aspect. The gym is one of the cleanest gyms I’ve ever been to and the bathrooms give you a 5 star hotel kind of feeling. It’s a great place to be glad I joined

Resilient training lab is a great place to meet your fitness goals whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. My technique has improved significantly and I genuinely would say I wouldn’t be able to achieve where I am without them. I honestly can say it’s the best gym ever!
