Even though there’s a dealership closer to where I live, I went to North Haven because their service department used to be terrific. I had an appointment. They promised me loaner and when I got there, they said the loaner was not available. I had all kinds of appointments that day and it really messed up.

Called today, Service department receptionist is extremely unfriendly, lacked communication skills and gave me feeling like I was bothering her for calling to get a quote. Had intentions on making an appointment today to get my front AND back brake pads and rotors done by this dealership. After that interaction I will not be doing business with them, just missed out on a $1200-$1300 job.

If I could give this place service and parts department a negative number I would. Skip has been trying to help but every time I call it’s another excuse. Oh! The technician that’s working one your car is sick, someone died, he’s not in blah blah blah. If I could talk about every excuse in the book From the system going down to the technician not being available. It’s ridiculous. My daughter is going back to college and it’s impossible to get her there without a car. Money has been tight for Ubers. $$$ of dollars to go back and fourth. Imagine 7 months of that and now nothing yet. It’s terrible.

Tawnya and Skip are both so responsive scheduling my service at a convenient time and making me comfortable as I wait. They really listen and are clear when explaining the work to be done. I have referred friends to them for Volkswagen service.

The mechanics do a thorough inspection including a video with advise and notes on various parts. I historically tried to find smaller mechanics but I trust this dealership and don’t feel taken advantage of, though it can be pricier and sometimes takes longer than I expect. Reasonable oil change prices.

I came in unannounced with my VW near lease-end with the hope that with my low mileage, the dealership would buy the car from me and cut me a check for the equity. Not only did they give me a comparable buy out price, but Scott was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I will be recommending them to anybody in the market for a VW.
