I have always had a wonderful experience at animal haven . The staff is great and put animals FIRST ! All these 1 star reviews sound like entitled children who didn’t get their way . This is Coraline , an animal haven rescue who I was lucky enough to get a chance to adopt.

Anyone looking to adopt a cat or dog, please check out The Animal Haven in North Haven. Michelle and her staff are AMAZING with the furry little ones. The cats and dogs are so cared for and loved. The Warden and I went there for one cat adoption, we ended up with two. It was the easiest and best experience.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many cats to choose from, if I had a bigger house I would've adopted more!

The Animal Haven, Inc. is a non-profit, no-kill animal shetler located in North Haven, CT. We rescue puppies, kittens, cats, and dogs. We receive no sort of funding from the state or local government and rely on donations from the community to stay up and running. We have been around since 1948, finding thousands of animals caring and loving forever homes.
