“Family owned. By far THE nicest pharmacy that we have ever dealt with!I would never use another. We currently live in East Haven and drive to North Haven so we can do business with them. And, once we move to Guilford CT, we will still use them!I cannot stress it enough, doing business with a family owned business is like night and day vs a national company. This family is caring and very helpful. And we make our community stronger if we support locally owned businesses! It's a fact.My wife and I have been going here since 2005.Cannot say enough good things about this family owned business.”

“I was very happy with the help I received. I went there on 10/9/23 and Matt the pharmacist was very helpful and nice to us. Marisol who was also working there was very kind and helpful. Great team!!”

“I have used Hancock Pharmacy for over 3 years. My delivery drivers are a nice group of people.. It's much easier for me to have my scripts delivered because I have 3 children, and my youngest is 16mnths old but has a disability due to Dandy-Walker Syndrome (Varient). So YES delivery is a plus. The couple of cons I have is there hours of operation. I tried to call around 640pm and realized that they were already closed. So I have to wait for tomorrow. Also when a script that was supposed to be called in and hadn't , usually the pharmacist would deal with that situation. (Walgreen's ALWAYS dealt with my doctor and my insurance if necessary)..But for some reason they tell me to track down the doctor and/or insurance issues. I understand that they (The Pharmacy Staff) is busy but they have more information about the doctors, there phone numbers and other resources to facilitate a more speedy response than I would be able to receive. But I still use the Pharmacy And don't plan on changing. Muchas gracias.. Thanks very much. :-)”

“This place is a hidden gem. When the big alphabet pharmacies could not fill some prescriptions for us, this place came through. Plus, you are not number 9 in line waiting to pick up your script. It's just too bad they do not have some limited hours on Saturdays.”

“Kind, helpful, and fast. I can appreciate the comments about the previous pharmacists as they were also great, but that shouldn't be taken out on the workers there now. I have never had any problems here and often times, when a new prescription was needed, they would help find the best, affordable solution.”

“I was driving around looking for a Pharmacy to transfer my meds to and came across Fair Haven Pharmacy and am glad I stopped and went in to check it out and found the staff very courteous and accommodating and I don't have to wait in line or deal with a incompetent Pharmacy that I switched from. . I will definitely recommend this Pharmacy to my friends and relatives due to the competent owners and staff members that I encountered..”

“My first time at this Rite Aid because they had the vaccine I wanted. The store was super clean, beyond my expectation, and products were displayed neatly on the shelves. Staff was efficient and friendly. This might be my go-to pharmacy if I didn't live out of town.”

“I grew up in NYC, been in CT five years. This is the cleanest, best stocked, nicest employees in tru state are. Best grocery store I ever been to in my 53 years.! Love it.”

“Look their are some florists And pharmacies that deliver to Yale New Haven Hospital and they are pure pond scum. Why because they park on the sidewalk because they do not want to walk. However for the past year People's Pharmacy does NOT do this. Eli always parks in the parking spot and when I complemented him he said it was the right thing to do.Humble and polite. While the others say that they are there fora short time.”

“I have nothing but great things to say about Nick the pharmacist and the pharmacy techs. They are always helpful and accomodating to my needs and schedule. A+ customer service!”

“Nearly every staff member of the pharmacy is excellent, and unlike many other Walgreens pharmacy locations, they not only answer their phone, but go out of their way to be helpful upon answering. Stephanie the pharmacist has helped me more times than I can remember.Sadly, I think it’s public knowledge that Walgreens pays their staff under market, and treats them poorly in general. It’s no coincidence that the stores and pharmacies are often severely understaffed and the phones go unanswered.Knowing the strain this puts on the staff that are present, I think that those who manage to do their jobs at all, let alone with good attitudes, should be praised.Walgreens, get your act together and pay your employees what they deserve. Until you do, you’re fully responsible for the repercussions. Thanks to the team at this location for your hard work.”

“CVS honestly usually doesn't make me a happy camper. I had an issue running out of medication while traveling, and TWO CVS stores couldn't help me. Laura, at this Guilford one, overheard me getting denied for the third time, and helped me out in transferring my prescription. Again, out of THREE CVS stores, Laura was the ONLY employee willing/able to help. So, realistically, this review is 1 star for CVS and 5 stars for Laura, but I'm very thankful for her service.”

“I was traveling to visit family when I realized that I left a vital medication at home. Unfortunately I always have to take the same medication produced by a certain manufacturer. I called all over and no one carried it, including this pharmacy. I was told that I was out of luck by a tech but the pharmacist, Tim, was just excellent. He called his suppliers, located the medication I needed and had it shipped to the pharmacy the next day. Had Tim not cared the way he did and made such an effort I would have been in a medical emergency. I can't say enough about him!”

“I find this Walgreens pharmacy to be the best. It is close to home with a decent drive thru unlike competitors.I’ve received my vaccines as scheduled and see no negative issues at all.Insurance issues have not been their problem as some medications are now in a different tier causing problems with eye drops, for example.I recommend this pharmacy for its great help. The store has all the basics and is uncluttered. The register upfront can be backed up so two people are needed. No problem for me to wait a few minutes.”

“I shop everywhere because no one store has everything I need.Shop Rite often has the best prices but their selection is uneven, I often can't find grocery items in stock.Their seafood department is usually good, clean and well stocked, the meat department is close, but doesn't always have what I'm looking for.Produce is uneven, the organic section is nice, but the regular fruit is often bruised and picked over. I'm also not a fan of prepacked and bagged fruit. The Frozen and Dairy sections are well stocked and rarely sold out of sale items.Florist is small and I never see staff there, Bakery is crowded and heavy on frozen baked goods. The employees are pleasant enough, but if there are lines, I use the self checkout. Not a phenomenal experience, but good enough for me to shop there, but the Hamden store, same owner, is kept better.”

“Friendly service but did not stock the one item we needed: Bread. The store had plenty of parking and the customer service was great. It is a convenient location near to a hotel. We found something else to purchase instead.”

“I went to Rite Aid on a somewhat soggy Saturday afternoon, needing a snack after the winery down the road. The parking lot was pretty sparse, there was no wait to check out, and the high ceilings with bright lights was nice. It was very clean, as was the parking lot. The seasonal section was a little small compared to other Rite Aids, but had some fun Halloween items on sale for 50% already.”

“I recently switched my pharmacy from East Haven Ride Aid to North Haven Walgreens and encountered a problem. Walgreens' staff told me that my prescription was not available after 4 days. Fortunately I called Norford Rite Aid and the pharmacist David Tran made a great effort and assistance to help get my prescription after a couple day. I really appreciated his effort and kindness to meet the needs of customers. The other staff were also helpful and friendly.”

“I've had bad experiences with Walgreens, enough so that I stopped using them. I was discharged from the hospital the other and my pharmacy didn't have 2 meds that I really needed. Dr. called Walgreens, and they had med, but the pharmacy section would be closed before I got there. Walgreens pharmacist called me to let me know she would wait for me to get there so that I could get medications. I am very grateful to her. She went above and beyond to help. Thank you.”

“Walgreens is where I do most of my banking. I use Chime and store policy allows me to add cash to my cards, cash app, chime, ect. For no fees!I don't use them for prescriptions because they are short on pharmacists and can shut down unannounced which had left me out of my meds for a few days. I hope they get their pharmacy together.”
