“Wow! When I entered the showroom, I thought I died, and went to bathroom heaven. Their showroom is better than my entire house! The only thing better than the showroom, though, was their customer service. The receptionist, Sherleen, is outstanding! She is courteous, professional, and personable. The girl is an absolute gem. Whatever they're paying her is not enough! Don't buy her coffee, or a pizza lunch, give her a raise. Show me the money! The sales associate, Dariluz, was no less superior. She was helpful, efficient, and very amenable. In fact, she does the work of two people. She's is competently bilingual, as was Sherleen, and they should be appropriately, and significantly compensated. Show me the money! Employers should pay for these skills, that are highly sougt after. Finally, Terry, at the parts counter was friendly, and a wizard at attention to detail, with a wicked sense of humor. You can tell he enjoys his job. BENDER should feel fortunate to have these incredible employees representing them. If you require any further details of my visit, just call me. “Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I needed 2 new lightbulbs for my dimmable chandelier. I had a hard time finding the correct ones on my own but an employee came to my rescue. I was informed that they don’t make the kind I had anymore so I was shown what my options were and was able to purchase the correct bulbs and avoid having to make any type of return. I will always go to Goody’s over any of those big box stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s. I ALWAYS try to support the small businesses. They also offer much better customer service than the big box stores. Just go to Goody’s they will take great care of you.”

“Hidden gem in Branford. Though directions will only bring you to the building, drive around the right side of the building and you'll see the sign. The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, and experienced. They have a wide variety of mostly domestic woods, but are also capable of sourcing things for you - I picked up some black walnut for a project. If you're a woodworker of any stripe, or a contractor building with quality materials, this is the place in town for you. When you find a good place like this, you want to keep it open; pay them a visit, you won't regret it.”

Every attempt to cross-reference the part in the manual hit a dead end as the machine is ancient.I found the Parker Store in a search for a replacement hose. Grabbed the hose and hopped in the truck. Gordon took the blown hose and had a new one ready for me in minutes while I waited.Great operation, great service, and local! I can't say enough good things about this store.”

“I frequent Country Paint and Hardware all of the time. The staff are like family. They are very attentive and offer expert advice on any number of projects that I am working on. More recently, I had a well pump issue. Working with my son, I was able to determine that the cause was the pump. I called them with the specs to make sure they had one, which they did. I sent my wife over to pick it up before closing so I could make the repair when I came home from work. Using the tool Earl put together for me 20 years ago, I changed the pump out in about 45 minutes. Several days later, they sent me a card thanking me for the purchase. The card was handwritten and showed me just how appreciative they are of my choice in purchasing from them.Thank you,Randy”
