Always have what I'm after. Service from the gents on the floor is always top notch. The ladies at checkout are mostly great, but there are some bored-seeming youngsters that have not been trained in, or don't care about, good customer interaction. The job gets done, but sometimes feels like an imposition. So 4, instead of 5, stars.

Newtown Hardware has an impressive and wide variety of what a hometown hardware store should have. Big box stores serve a purpose, but local neighborhood stores like Newtown Hardware have an ingredient that the big stores don't. From the first step in the door to receiving the receipt from the cashier the store has helpful nice employees/staff to assist with the search, the decision and the purchase. They are a Do-it store and they do it right. Thank you Newtown Hardware.
