BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Stole $210.00 of deposits I had with this company. They closed my account do to I got in a damaged statue and after I told them the problem with the statue I got in they closed my account and kept all the pre order deposit I had with them. Before this I was shopping with this company for 2 years but right when I had a problem they closed my account and stole my deposits I had on my pre orders with them. Best to buy somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this company whatsoever.

Have been going here for years, and keep coming back. Mostly Fanboy is an online store and a comic con vendor (first introduced to the company at NY ComicCon). Walking into the small store however, and they have a lot of things on display, ranging from small action figures to larger more detailed statues. Plus the warehouse is pretty large and has a lot more.

Hubby and I stopped here on our way home from a road trip. Troy was the nicest guy. He let us look as long as we wanted and answered all of our questions. Great stop if you're a n*** who collects. Will be visiting his website for collectibles in the future. Thanks Troy!

What a great experience. I was at the recent NY Comic-con and was looking for some rare statues for my collection. There were a few vendors selling what I was looking for and were close in price between each other. After explaining my situation to the owner of Fanboy, Troy Emmi, he took his time to go over different options and even was able to help me preorder some rare items on his site, that no one else had available. He was basically 10%-15% below all the other companies and I have purchased about 4 more items since then and all we delivered as advertised in perfect condition. Some of these other reviewers seem to be focused on shipping issues which any owner has no control of.

Pros: -Knowledgable and personable seller -Excellent shipping and communication -All statues hand inspected prior to sale. -Competitively priced Cons: -I dont have enough money to buy all the things I want. Have been fortunate enough to deal with Fanboy for several years now and have always had great experiences. The owner is incredibly knowledgable about comicbook and superhero related statues and collectibles and has always been open and honest. Since our first encounter I have purchased a nunber of items, having some shipped, and picking others up from Fanboy booths at comic conventions throughout the east coast. One of the best things about this company is that they will always check statues with you when purchasing at shows or in person. This makes sure that both the seller and buyer are satisfied with the condition of the statue. Noticed that another reviewer falsely claim that an item was supposed to be factory sealed, however, every single statue that goes through Fanboy is opened and inspected for quality control. I've seen it first hand, and it is also on their terms of service. Highly recommend if you are serious about collectibles.

You agreed to take the return and heard nothing. So you naturally assumed I was abducted by aliens and wiped off the face of the planet? Geeee, the simple fact that it was still in the process of coming back as we both agreed in emails was no longer a possibility? What made you think it wasn't coming back? It took too long? Suppose alike you, I was also at a Comic Con? How about that? Can I also use that as an excuse or is that only reserved for you exclusively? You had no idea, or IF item was coming back. So naturally assume it wasn't coming back, right? Brilliant! You had no one there to receive because you ASSUMED wrong. You know what they say when you assume, you make an A** out of U and ME. You heard nothing in the meantime because there wasn't a problem. If there was, I would've notified you for obvious reasons and gave you a heads up. Like the heads up you could've gave me regarding your absence during the Comic Con. But why would you right? You used the Comic Con as an excuse to abandon my return package. Your words here. "If at any time prior to the expected package arrival date the customer reached out and told us it shipped back and/or provide a tracking number we would have had someone hear to receive the package." Uuuh excuse me. Why would I reach out again and tell you it's coming back when you ALREADY KNEW it was coming back? Reaching out to you the first time through email and receiving confirmation wasn't enough? Me sending it back was mutually agreed and already confirmed! So you should've already have someone there to receive package regardless! Makes absolutely no sense for me to inform you additional times that something is returning when its already been PRE established by the both of us! Tracking number is for me to trace considering it's on my receipt. If you were interested to track it yourself, I certainly wouldn't have a problem sharing it with you upon request had you simply ask. Why didn't you? Hmmm. Your instructions on email which I still have was simple. Ship it back and you made no reference to attach any tracking number whatsoever. Your words here again. "As the customer states, we did NOT have anyone here to receive a package, as we had no idea when, or if, it was even being shipped back." You just pounded the last nail in your own coffin here. You had no idea WHEN or IF it was coming back so you assumed the worst and concluded it wasn't coming back period? Well that's awfully considerate and nice of you. I'm not responsible for how you assume or how you think. My only responsibility was to ship back as you agreed in my saved emails. But you left your responsibilities for the Comic Con because YOU assumed it wasn't coming back right? YOUR FAULT because you assumed wrong! You being the owner, you should be responsible to accept all incoming packages before, during or after trip. You can't just leave customers out in the dust completely blindsided. This is exactly like a reckless employer telling an applicant to stop by ANYTIME for a interview but when applicant shows up, employer conveniently went out to lunch. Seriously? Oh sorry you missed your job interview so I had to hire someone else. But you said to come by ANYTIME which I did but you were out to lunch. Oh...well uuuh but yeeah you should've....called me ahead of time anyways. But you just said to stop by anytime which I did but it's my fault you were at lunch? You're still playing the blame game based on what you assumed. You thought this, you thought that. You assumed this, you assumed that. Never once did you think or assume it was still in the process of coming back right? Blamed me for your own actions on your end and used the Comic Con as the excuse. Remarkable.
